I mean to say VO starts PCC related docs checks now itself ....

normally many friends asked to submit PCC along with MR .... and then VO start checks based on PCC....

so is that kind of checks would have started now itself..... so this may cause delay ???

PCC are related to Criminality check. It has nothing to do with Security Check.

If you submitted PCC then nothing to worry, chances are you might not be asked to submit PCC again.

Then you won't be asked to submit it again, and your criminality checks are in the works

Ok , so when criminality check will be over, then we will get MR?? or it is not related to .....

In most cases MR is issued after clearing Eligibility. Criminality can still be ongoing if one gets PCC request with MR.

Dear Senior Members - Previously I had asked if the RPRF Fees is to be paid per applicant or per application and I was told that the fees is per applicant.

Therefore, for a FSW application of husband and wife the fees would be (490 * 2 = 980).

However, while trying to pay the RPRF Fee it is indicating $490 per application and not $490 per applicant.

You can check it here:

https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/order.do?category=8

Can anyone please explain if this is a mistake on their part or I'm reading too much into this. I just don't want to pay another $490 if it is not required.

Thank you!

Hello seniors,

Can someone give me some advice.

I am an Indian currently residing in Germany.
I will be here till mid June, and my stay might get extended as well.

I am a FSW applicant and had my Credit Card charged recently.
So I am expecting PER and further document requests over coming weeks.

My query is around Police Certificates. In last 10 years, I have lived in UK, India (Bangalore) and Germany.
So I understand I will need PCC from all 3 places.
Can you please advise:
i. The validity of PCC?
ii. Considering I might get PER in coming weeks, will it making sense to start working on PCCs now and have them ready to reduce delay.
iii. For UK PCC, does it make sense to take the express service which is costlier. They also have an option for speedier courier. Does that make sense? Has someone tried it.
iv. For German PCC, normally German residents can get a PCC from local registration office. Though I do not have German citizenship, I do have a German residence card and work permit, and I am also registered at the local meldebehörde. Does it make me eligible to get the PCC from meldebehörde? Plz share if anyone has experience.
v. For Indian PCC, I understand that PCC can be normally taken from either Passport office or from Police. However, I realized that Indian Consulates abroad also provide this service. Do you think it will make sense for me to apply at Indian mission in Frankfurt instead. Will it be accepted by CIC. The mission office is a short walk from where I work.

Thanks for your help.
Cheers.

Immigration officer at VO check whether points given to you at by Officer at CIO-Sydney are appropriate or not. But at CHC/CCG/VO level they do thorough check.

Yes. There are chances of getting NER even after UCI.

They usually generate UCI when they open up you package, and start processing it.

You need visa stamping in his passport other wise he can
He denied entry into Canada

Raise a CSE to your CO, I think it is a mistake from their side
EXPERIENCED MEMBERS CAN CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG BUT
If you son holds a us passport he will not recieve a visa on his passport as us passport holders dont need visa to enter canada. But his name needs to be mentioned on COPR

I also called today CIC and got my UCI.
The status: In process
We received your application on 3rd of November 2014

It would be a good idea to send a query to CIO regarding status update, designated VO and transfer date, so that you would have some new info to digest in 60 days from now.

Quick one for the forumites who has requested FOSS/GCMS directly.

Consent form for each indivisual who's details are to be checked

Can you share a prescribed format, or it's generic.

It's a generic form... Run a search for IMM5744E in google and pick up the pdf from the first result you see... Cheers!!
