Hi,

I raised an inquiry two months before with CIC to get the application status. Two days back, I received a mail that the file was transferred to Colombo but I choose NDVO. But no second line update yet.

Can Anyone suggest if it is normal or my file will come to NDVO and colombo is a transit destination?

Please Help,
Regards

Due to high load on NDVO they are routing files to different VO. This will have some slight impact on your time (may be +ve or - ve cant be sure now since this trend has started in December 2014). SS will not have enough data to have a sample subset of application time lines for these new transfers

+1 for your knowledge and readiness to share it!

Probably, they were satisfied with your PCC as it was valid at the date of receipt. MR for your kid will take time (1 month or more).

Thanks Diplomatru ,

But is common that MR for newborn kid and PCC may come afterwards also ?

I mean are there other cases like me where they received only MR/RPRF and received PCC later on ?

I appreciate your valuable reply... :)

Hello I have a quick question ?

I had received my PER on 6thJan'14 and I had applied from India so I was expecting my documents to be transferred to High Commission in New Delhi right ?

However my files are transferred to Sri Lanka High Commission and I received the mail confirmation for the same stating that this is done to process it faster ...

Is this okay ... I am a bit concerned ..

Congratulations ;D ;D ;D

Yes it's ok and not just ok it's good expect line 2 update and mr now u r on correct path Goodluck ;D

Loosing my patience... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Where is my DM or PPR..

The GCMS notes will be useless at this point. Be patient. Back in the day, we had to wait over 120 days for PER after submission.

Thank you Diplomatru !! however I am afraid that it might be turn into NER as its too late now to expect PER. Usually in this forum, people have received PER in average of 30 days mainly around October. I have lost hope to get PER now :-[ :-[ :'( :'(

Good day fellow sailors,

I have got my MR/RPRF today. NDVO

App date.: 1/08/14
PER: 25/11/14
Processing started: 28/1/15
MR/RPRF : 11/02/2015.

But serious concern is that I have not received MR for my new born kid ..

I have already sent them baby's documents on 30th Jan 2015 via CSE along with revised POF.

Also I have not received my PCC request. (Although I had sent them PCC at the time of application i.e. 1st Aug 2014 but that PCC was going to expire in the month of SEPTEMBER 2014.)

What could be the reason for not receiving my PCC request and baby's medical ?

Please shed some light friends ... I am really bothered right now.

Seniors please reply .... Ur advice will be extremely helpful ...

Congratulations ;D ;D ;D

Very good news don't be worried u might have sent Pcc initially and it may have been valid till verification and as far your kid'd mr is concerned chances are they might have not updated it yet so go ahead and get them done very less examinations for kid happen and so if u send it I. Advance any delay which could have been caused won't happen and Goodluck ;D

Yes, sometimes they misplace PCC and request an applicant to send it over again :) VO cannot start criminality assessment in the lack of a police certificate. If you received MR/RPRF means that you have passed selection decision and all your assessments are ongoing (including crim.), so it seems that your PCC is A-ok.

Hi,

Since you have submitted the Pay stubs earlier hence it is pretty evident to them that you have a job. So if they are asking for proof i would suggest just arrange for the funds.

Now since you may not have a history of up to 3 /6 months for them ensure you remind them with evidence that you have a job in Canada and the necessary funds.

But i think you may already have necessary balance in your account since you have been there since a while.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I am getting married in couple of weeks and that will leave me with a much lower than the required balance. I am planning to arrange the required funds. They want the proof in 60 days, so that shouldn't be a big issue.

Don't get frustrated yet! There have been two EE draws already and CIO must be overwhelmed.

I agree with Diplomatru. Do not loose hope till 120 days. your NOC has high volume and it actually did pick up after July (number of applications increased under this NOC as rest of the relevant NOC filled up)

in some cases MR from NDVO may take three months but I hope you get it sooner

What happens if I cannot land in Canada before the One-Time-Entry(PR stamp for Indians) stamp expires? Some say that i'll have to get new medicals and enter, and others say that the PR will then expire, and i'll have to restart the whole process.

Can someone confirm which one is true?

Thank you.

Since you mentioned Marriage.

You will have to inform VO Immediately after the marriage and if your spouse is not Canadian, get her added to the application.

you will hence have to show POF for both.
