Mail Received from: CLMBOIMMIGRATION2 @ international.gc.ca
Subject: Acknowledgement Letter

UCI: 92XXXXXX

Dear XYZ ABC:

This is to inform you that your application for permanent residence in Canada as a Federal Skilled Worker has been transferred to the High Commission of Canada in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This has been done to provide the shortest possible processing time. In some instances your file may be transferred to the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi. If so, you will be notified.

Your application number and unique client identifier (UCI) remain the same as shown in this letter. You must quote these numbers in any future correspondence. All correspondence regarding your application is to be addressed to the High Commission of Canada in Colombo, Sri Lanka at the address below, and NOT the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

In order to devote resources to faster processing, we will not be responding to requests for case status.

This is good :)...This VO appears to be very direct...Shorter processing times, communicate with us only, and no response to status queries...they seem intent on assessing ur file quickly....Consider urself lucky :)

Hi recruitskm,

Can you please clarify whether your wife underwent X-Ray diagnosis while she was pregnant? Normmaly, docs advise not to expose abdomen to x-ray when pregnant.

Docs have a separate procedure to conduct such test for Pregnant mothers and they did notify the NDVO regarding this expected change.

Yes you can sponsor visiting visa for anybody in general and also there is a provision for Long stay VISA for Parents which could let them stay as long as 2 years at a stretch

Dear All,

Medicals for my family was done on Jan 5th.Till now no third line update. Is it a normal? What is the max time frame for third line update after medicals.

There is one person who has reported maximum of 54 days between medicals done and third line. But ideal time is 4-10 days after the upload.

Adisu01,

Thanks for reviewing my GCMS notes. To the benefit all, I'm posting info about my file

GCMS Created on: 12-Jan-15
GCMS Received: 10-Feb-15
PER Received on: 14-Dec-14
File Received at VO: 6-Jan-15 (Location:Registry)
Last Location of file: ECU-FRP (Economic Class Unit-File Ready for Processing)

Paper files are transferred to VO and it hardly takes 20-21 days for transfer. Kindly make a note, GCMS is a month old. I hope the file is already assigned to officer right now and hope to get medical in a week time.

Cheers,
Naresh

Thanks for sharing your GCMS notes

Just one question your file has been transferred to VO on Jan 16th when you got a PER on 14 Dec. Does that mean that my file which got itself a PER on Dec 5th would have undergone all these process before or are they transferring it on a random basis.

Reason i asked is i am still waiting for second line update/MR

Regards
