Hi Titans, I have got my second line updated on 6th February which says that they have started working on my file w.e.f. 3rd Feb and my file application date is 14th August. Haven't received any MR as of now.

Thanks Ankush,

Just hoping that someone will look at my file.

Just a question when we get PER do they physically transfer the file to our VO or electronically.

Regards

Came across this chrome plug-in which once set auto refreshed the web page at periodic intervals.
Helps me use this forum better without always refreshing the page manually.

dont know safe or not but its illegal as per Indian law!

This is a strong notion, I believe, that its illegal to courier passport outside India. Can anyone with this thought point me to the place where it is written.

However, you should not be sending your passports to NDVO when you yourself are out of India. This is so because, on the date of VISA issuance, you will actually not be in India. It may be a problem during any immigration and emigration activities around the globe.

In your present situation, you should raise CSE with NDVO and get the approval for stamping visa at your present location. This is not a problem and is allowed by NDVO.

If many such files are transferred to VOs with relatively less applications at their desk, then everybodys process will be quick!

If you dont mind can you pm or post the email you received here for our reference, just curious to see that they bothered to mention that it is done to shorten the process time.
;)

That's totally different to what Warsaw sent me. Your email is so assuring that they are on their feet to process faster.

It clearly mentions the transfer of your file whereas ours left me in a dilemma if its an AOR, its just an email that file is going to be transferred in the near future lol no clue what's going on ???
Good news bro, Good Luck :)

Already raised CSE with urgent as the top most line.. raised it on 28th Jan. No reply yet. Its gona be 30 days on 28th Feb and that is the deadline that NDVO has given for passport submission to Delhi. No idea when they will respond.

One query is pending since 7th Jan. NDVO is really loaded. Hope I get a reply soon else I will have to send my family back to India.

some indications that NDVO and other VOs have accelerated its speed. Probably they want to complete FSW2014 before EE files overwhelms them ;)
