I hope to day is a very dry day with out good no's of MR's or PPR's.. i was actually busy in my meetings fully.. but my mind is completely here and was expecting some good quantity of good news.. but nope...!!!! :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ . Atleast tomorrow i wish that all of us hear N number of good News.. God Almighty help us and hear our prayers..

There were 4 or 5 DM reported from NDVO yesterday (Monday). you must have missed as the updates were in different times.

we share less than 20% of the total applications in our spreadsheet and these days people hardly update it. You see many of the PPR request missing their spreadsheet . I stopped looking at the spreadsheet

When 5 PPR from forum which clearly means they must have issued 25 or more DM yesterday . I also checked fswp 2013 discussion and could see people getting decision made there

Couple of my friends in 2012 ,2010 are also getting decision made . so they are updating lots.

My Application was received on Nov 5th 2014 for NOC 2172 and my DD was claimed on Jan 13th. Still there is no update about PER .
Last time I called CIC Canada for UCI number they refused to share it. I don't know how some people managed to get it.

Anyone with same NOC around the same time waiting for their PER ?

agreed with you , i am not able to understand what is stopping visa office to issue atleast 3 to 4 ppr or dm daily ..
i will be surprise if ndvo issue ppr is bulk due to back log ,, they have to follow process and if they have set time line for PPR it should start now ....

once the DVO review the file, then the file will be forwarded to team lead to review and then once the application is passed all reviews, it will then be sent to a program manager to review. Only the PM has the rights to approve

So your files are pending for a PM review most likely. I see an update from a May applicant yesterday stating that his application was ready for visa from nov and it is just lying there

So luck also comes here. pray hard

we see large number of 2174 getting DM as this was among the first one which filled 1000
Based on the spreadsheet cap reached on 7/3
by looking at the stat, 2174 & 2173 DM and PPR are going to lead.

you need to wait for the second line - we started processing your application on <date>

this indicates

a) your file is assigned to a visa officer
b) due date is set
c) Visa officer reviews your file

based on the review, he can

-
- Request Additional Documents
- decide an interview is required , or further verification is required.
- etc

Once all documents are satisfactory , he will request PA to send you a medical request. Then the file will be transferd to PA ( program Assistant Desk) and she will send you a Medical request depends on the work load. for me it took 16 days after the review ( based on the GCMS notes) beacuse of holidays. Ideally you should be getting within 10 days .

If you don't receive a medical request in 15 days , raise a GCMS notes for reading the review comments. GCMS notes usally take 30 days to reach you. I don't recommend waiting indefinite for Medical request after the second line update just beacuse it takes 30 days to see a note.

99% will have their medical request available before the GCMS notes arrival. if not, you know the visa officers comments and understand why is the delay and take corrective actions.

For example if a second review suggested in notes - notes tell you why is it required - you can upload additional documents, if an interview is required -you know why are they asking for interview

I have situation here.. need ur urgent advice
I went to PSK for my wife' PCC. They denied to issue PCC by saying that, first she need to update here perticulars since she is married now and moved to new address. After that she can apply for PCC.
Updating the particulars means that she need to apply for re-issue of passport.

Wife's paspport was issued in 2007 and we got married in 2012 and currently she is holding same passport.

Last date to submit PCC is 25 march.

SO what do you guys recommend? Should I apply for re-issue passport or should I get the PCC from police station??

I'm confused between above two options to get the PCC. Please help[/size][/size][/size][/size][/size][/size][/size]

Dont Panic, There is enough time

First of all, apply passport under Tatkal scheme......the passport will reach your home in 3 to 4 days or max 7 days....
passport office will conduct police verification in those 7 to 10 days...
after that you go to PSK and apply for PCC.... they will hand it over to you right on the spot...
so its hardly 15 days job....
