I have situation here.. need ur urgent advice
I went to PSK for my wife' PCC. They denied to issue PCC by saying that, first she need to update here perticulars since she is married now and moved to new address. After that she can apply for PCC.
Updating the particulars means that she need to apply for re-issue of passport.

Wife's paspport was issued in 2007 and we got married in 2012 and currently she is holding same passport.

Last date to submit PCC is 25 march.

SO what do you guys recommend? Should I apply for re-issue passport or should I get the PCC from police station??

I'm confused between above two options to get the PCC. Please help[/size][/size][/size][/size][/size][/size][/size]

if you in DELHI then :- go get changed details stamped(yes they just stamp new address and name, I got it done for mine in aug b4 applying mine was issued from Mumbai got it to Delhi so not a big deal ) within a week and get PCC if not in DELHI then police hqr option given by other member sounds good for you!!

Today I called cic and had the chance to talk to one agent
I wanted to check if our noc 2132 got capped and where my application is currently located
She told me after checking my uci on the system that there is no update , and that my application
Is still with cic
When I asked if the cap is reached for October applicant , she said no , cause she must see in the system that my application was retuned on d date due to x reason
So seniors m how much this info is accurate ?

if you dialled correct phone no. then the info is definitely correct since the person on other side is bound to speak what's written and cannot manipulate it goodluck u still in!!

hi everyone,

i got passport request from CPC Ottawa on Jan 9th 2015 and sent them the passports which were received at CPC Ottawa on jan 12th

I forgot to include the xpressspost USA shipping slip and hence got another email on Jan 21st 2015 from their mail room asking for it to be sent in email as PDF. I immediately sent it .

Its almost 20 days But till now no updates, the shipping label is not activated and no tracking updates too. I am really concerned now. I sent them many emails but no response at all.

Any ideas anyone on how can i get my passports back ? CPC Ottawa doesnt have a contact number to reach at..i m really worried..please help..Thanks

i had undergone medicals on january 24 th 2015. i still dont see any update in ecas. doctor was supose to send e-medical results to cic. do you know how much time does it take for cic to update 3rd line on ecas?

Don't worry you will get to know soon, god forbidden if any repetitions are required then also u will know. the details will be uploaded by this week end max I think good luck ;D usually you get good news until u already know pre existing ailments
so wait for goodness I say !

I have similar issue. I informed NDVO about my movement to US. they sent the PPR with my updated address but asked to submit passports to New Delhi High Commission. Whats the use of updating address with them.. really I have no idea.

since Indian law doesn't allow passport being sent by post or any other means other then person sending it being in India, so may be they follow this ;D

It means PER is coming soon.

It means that they finished calculating points and i got my per and waiting email or it means that the charging is okey and now it will be checked for the requirments ?

2) When will my File will be sent to NDVO? will i be notified?

3) what sort of timeline i am looking for Medical.

4) Very much worried about my Verification: what sort of verification they will do. I heard that they sent ppl at office to check? I informed my boss about the verification. Will they contact HR or my reference given. I dont want to tell my HR team as they will make my life difficult.

5) I am Dubai for a month sent by my office. Do you feel that i should inform NDVO about the travel.

First of CONGRATULATIONS for the PER.

You seem to be reading too much into the post PER process(being an HR mgr i dont blame you ). Its a wait game all the way.

Wait for more or less 45 days and you should see a MR. The ref checks happen, just keep your coach informed.
