Hi RK, you are the second person who has report such a issue with HDFC.
Apparently me and my friend we both sumbitted RPRF via a HDFC draft.
We walked in the same branch 2 weeks later, met the BM and asked him to chk the status and he took 30 mins to get a confirmation from the backend and advised that they were enchased.

My suggestion, speak to the HDFC BM from where you got the DD made.
If he also says the same, advise him that others have got details.
He still declines you request, take it in writing. (I am sure he wont give) But in short make him regret for declining this request.

The only reason I feel the bank declines these requests is because it's for them a waste of time when they have other customers who are there to give business.

Thanks rvp_deltario... + 1 for this.

I will go to BM and will do the same...hope this solve my issue... and btw this is my 100 posts.... :)

DD status can be traced easily by bank branch. Intermediary bank sends the list of non en cashed DD each week or each day or in certain time interval. SO if you give your DD number bank can easily say either DD has en cashed or still pending. If the list contains your DD number then it is not encashed and if not then your DD has been en cashed.

Thanks for this information... this is why I love this forum.. so many ppl waiting to help others... :)

Best of luck to all..

Please accept +1 from my side...

Dont worry dear,
Many applicants reported that, their files have been transferred to Warsaw/Sri Lanka VO. It is because of NDVO is overloaded and to speed up the process, CIC is transferring file to other VO..
Best of Luck

Friends,

I received MR today and I have two specific questions pertaining to the same:

1. In the MR email it is mentioned that I need to submit FBI clearance certificate for myself since I have lived in USA from 2008 to 2010 and police clearance certificate for my spouse from United Kingdom since she lived there for a year 2005-2006. MR email also says that I need to submit Police Certificate from each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18. HOW CAN I GET THIS DONE IN 45 DAYS??????? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

2. My wife and I are expecting our 1st child anytime in next couple of weeks so we need to inform NDVO about new addition to our family. Should I inform about this information right-away and buy time to fulfill all requirements of point no. 1 or submit all those in point no. 1 within 45 days.

I AM TOTALLY CONFUSED AND WORRIED... NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

Hi MK,

Congrats on your MR and the expected baby. Life is showering you with good news.

2nd question 1st, you should have already informed NDVO about your wife's pregnancy and saved them some effort of issuing you the MR as you wife will not be able to get meds done. Do that now.

On your PCC, you simply need to advise the VO throught a CSE that FBI clearance takes times, not sure but 10 - 12 weeks is what I gather from earlier posts. NDVO will happly oblige you with an extension.
All the best.

Hi all,

I applied for FSW 2014 program in November'14, but havent received any mail from CIC.
I applied for 2171 job code. Isnt it too long a time? I checked with Bank and they have not yet honoured the DD. Just wanted to know if there are more such applicants here?

Thanks
YRK

Ravi,

NOC 2171 was already capped by Sep 2

You can request for an extension by mailing them. They usually accept the request and extend the deadline as they are aware of FBI clearance procedure.

2. My wife and I are expecting our 1st child anytime in next couple of weeks so we need to inform NDVO about new addition to our family. Should I inform about this information right-away and buy time to fulfill all requirements of point no. 1 or submit all those in point no. 1 within 45 days.

You can inform them now or God willing, after the birth and send additional dependants documents(passport, birth certificate and updated forms) along with police certificate. They will ask for these docs if you want to include your child in your current application. So you can do it now or after the birth, will work IMO.

PS: I hope you have already started the process to obtain police certificates.
