Hi m77,

Apart from the single entry visa which you get on the passport, NDVO will also give you a COPR (Confirmation fo permanent residence). You will need this letter at times in Canada untill you get citizenship.
E.g. When you cross borders in your private vehicle, in the absence of your PR Card, you can alternatively use the COPR.

Just wanted to update with my timelines.

NOC: 1123
Visa Office: London
Application Sent date; 16/06/14
Application received date: 20/06/14
Cc charged date: 09/09/14
PER date: 17/10/14
Email from LVO with request to update IMM5669E form for principal applicant only (Q.8 and Q.12): 03/02/15
Reply sent to LVO by email with updated form: 06/02/15

Finally ECAS Second line update: We have started processing your application on Feb 3rd, 2015.

Now eagerly waiting for MR request. However LVO still did not ask for PCC (as it was not included in the initial application).

Just keep praying, praying and praying....

In a similar case, I had sent a DD of CAD150 payable in Canada. It was accepted without a problem. I'm not sure about the INR8200 choice, but am sharing what I did.

I hope there will not be any problem wrt exchange rate as I will be sending the revised package by 20 February 2015.

Guys !!! 1,400.00 CAD was spent on my Credit Card on 09-FEB-15 at CITIZENSHIP & IMM FS. Final FX rates and charges are applicable. My application date was 12.12.14.

Once the file is transferred to VO

Second line appears when the assigned IPA opens file in GCMS and begins processing it by initiating document verification and criminality check. Upon completion he/she sends MR.

App received on Oct 10th 2014, applied on 2172,DD got encashed on dec24th as per bank but till now there is no mail from CIC, it has been 6 weeks after DD transaction. Any idea about why its got too much delayed. I can see that for most of the ppl after DD encashed with in 2 to 3 weeks they are getting the PER. :'( Is there any way to communicate to CIC to verify where is my application..

you may want to write to CIC and figure out what is the issue? BTW, did you provide an email address in the IMM form?
