My App reached on 25 June, and as per my email communication with CIC it shows my application have send to NDVO on 21 Oct

On Checking online status it show only one line " We have received you application on 25 JUne".

Nothing else is updated.

Please tell me is there any hope for me

After 78 days, my second line has been updated
Started processing on Feb 5th. Checked today, ie on Feb 9th

App recvd : July 18
PER : Nov 17
Second line Feb 5

VO: NDVO
App Date: Aug 6th
PER : Nov 27th
2nd Line update: Feb 9th ( It was mentioned processing started on 5th Feb)

Now waiting started for MR

Hi canindia999,

Currently you application is full fo hopes mate.
1st Line is updated post PER which acknowledges your application.
2nd Line - We have started processing your application on XXXX is updated when the VO officer pick you file for scrutiny.
Currently with NDVO being quite busy and pretty much all applicants across stages gettign delayed progress, you case is no different.
Hang on there and share the news when line 2 gets updated.

Hi,

Today I tried to get DD of CAD 150 from SBI towards fee of adding my child in the application. As per VO the draft shall be payable at New Delhi. However, SBI refused to give the same payable at Delhi but payable at Canada.

Shall I get the draft of INR 8,200 payable at New Delhi instead of CAD 150.

Please advise

Hi inamul70,

You can never assume that the interview is waived off. VO can ask you to meet in person at any stage of the application.
Stastically the probability does reduce of this occurance post medicals. But you will see a few cases on this forum where people have been called post meds.
Stay postitive and worry free, as long as the credentials talk for themselves, you got nothing to worry about.

DM in ECAS would mean no interivew. But, till then you never know!!

'am sorry but i was unable to understand your problem.

As per Canadian Embassy the DD shall be payable at New Delhi. I wanted to get the DD in Canadian dollars but the banks refused stating the foreign currency (CAD) shall be payable in Canada not Delhi.
