Hi All,

I just came to know through my consultant that now a days NDVO is issuing medical requests even before updating 2nd Line.

Can this be true.

Regards

I have seen cases where ppl received PPR before DM line update in ECAS. So going by that logic, what you mentioned here is possible. But, somehow I do not trust this breed called "consultants"

Thanks for the information.

In my case the human courier would be my father. And he would be submitting it in person.

Is it mandatory to use the VFS services or can we submit our passports in person? Any idea?

Regards

I read somewhere on this forum that you cannot submit the passport in person at NDVO. It has to be routed through a courier or VFS.

4th July,, No updates. Any body sailing in the same boat?

Hi

Me also 4th july , PER 29 oct...no update further. NOC 0113.

Any idea what we have to do now...?

dems, I am no expert on this but when I rationalise, 7-9 months is a long time and despite they doing the BCG and medicals if in case you havent intimated them about your wife's pregnancy, I would say, they will redo it all once the baby is born and you have his passport generated.

forumites, please share your thoughts to help dems reach a decision.

Thank you for the reply and i appreciate it. This is what makes me confused, some say no need to inform before MR as it will be reported during medical exam. If i tell it now they might stop the background check and my paper will totally stuck. If only during medical exam atleast i might save some time because the background check is already finish at that time and only my wife's xray will be pending..
That's why it make's me confused because some say before MR and some say only during medical exam.

I'm searching for a definite answer for this in cic website but i did not find the exact thing what to do.

Thanks

GCMS Notes- Notes made by CIC/ VO on your application file. Basically a screenshot of the checks made on your file through the various stages, the various stages it is moving through, where it is at, etc....You can request this data to see your file's current status...

If you have a relative/friend resident in Canada you can use this->

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do

Else you can use some 3rd party like this->

http://www.caips.ca/
http://www.gcmsfile.com/

Official site will cost less ($5), 3rd party will cost more ($20-30)..And you will get the results after a month but ur file will show ur status as on date u apply (and not the date u receive the results)

All the best!!

thanks man
is CSE is also a way or not ... and which one is better .

Hi gary, raising a CSE wont provide you any information. It's mostly to either update you application details or raise a query on something which is not available on CIC portal.
In application enquiry cases, the standard answer would be that it is being reviewed and you will be intimated.
GCMS as suggested by arkscan is the only way out.
