They encashed my DD on 3rd day of receipt of pcc/rprf....this is how ndvo doing to all applicants...thnx for ur wishes....

This is a sign of relief for me coz my DD expires next week and its just 3 months wait.
Hope this is the normal time for DD encash for all applicants and hope my DD is already cashed.

Check with your bank branch from where u got the DD...they will tell u when it got encashed....

I couldn't be much happier !
Finally the wait is over, today I received my passport stamped with visa.
The big adventure will soon commence.

Re: Medical Recieved is safe enough?

Just a question. If you clear medicals and ECAS updates "Medical Received" are you 100% safe?
I mean why there is soo long waiting time from "Medicals Received" to "Decision Made". I mean almost 4-6 months. What to do they do all this period? NDVO..

When they send medical request, verification of the documents and files included in your application is complete but your security checks are still ongoing. They need to wait for info on you from many different national/international security agencies (eg interpol) to see if you have links to any terrorism group (for example) or are under investigation for crime against humanity. The time it takes for these checks to complete depend on each individual's history/travel etc. So the time from medical check to decision made is very variable.
