Thanks Bro, even I do not have any travel history, its extremely random and this long wait is killing inner peace as well as confidence, lot of thoughts are eating the brain cores.
Anyways, I think, i should follow your suggestion and go with GCMS, how long will they take to respond on it.
26 to 30 days

My weight is 167 with 5.11 height. I am perfectly ok with my health. My concern is about obesity. Will that turn to be an issue for my medical.please advice

Completeness check by CIC officer does not mean only that forms and signatures are simply there. It means that documents provided by the applicants are also included. Without reading these documents (reading supporting proofs of your claims) the officer cannot decide if these documents are sufficient and acceptable or not. At this point the officer makes a match between the NOC descriptions and market ( Canada government ) requirements and your professional experience description. This is how they find if there is any discrepancy or not. Then they charge your mode of payment. A senior or a second immigration officer checks later the application and documentation to confirm or decline the decision taken by the first officer. At this stage you get either a PER or an NER. This is one of the reasons why most applicants with a cc or dd charge get always PER later because Fee payment is charged only when there is a high certainty that the file is complete and all in order.
Thanks for this insightful information

Medical Recieved is safe enough?

Just a question. If you clear medicals and ECAS updates "Medical Received" are you 100% safe?
I mean why there is soo long waiting time from "Medicals Received" to "Decision Made". I mean almost 4-6 months. What to do they do all this period? NDVO..

Thank you Sk1984indian, this is great!

So basically the turning point is PER mail. I have been hearing a lot about background verification being done, what is all about? does this happen for all or only specific cases. & is there a possibility that VO will call the employer, so that I can keep them posted.

Yes, PER is the Significant milestone. After PER, Once your file gets transferred. VO will initiate the documents verification and Security checks.

Background verification may include calling your employer or in some cases, there have been no calls to employers. Once you get your PER, wait for a month and tell your employers that they may receive a call

:-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ Could someone shed some light?

We received our medical request on the 5 Feb 2015, On my husbands medical form (he is the main applicant) it has a mistake. On the form it has his place of birth as ABC but he was born in XYZ - although he has dual citizenship of both ABC and XYZ - can we go ahead and do the medical test and just take both passports with or will I need to get that corrected on the form first. On our application form it shows that he was born in XYZ and also has citizenship in ABC....

ALSO We only received our medical request and not RPRF??? is this normal??

Thanks everyone in advance
