Actually pass mark points are calclated at MI acceptance review not at c-check/cost recovery stage.

My previous app was received on 30th june 2014. ..I received it bk due to incompleteness...
job duties were nt satisfactory to officer

..I sent it agn with updated job duties. ...

is there any case who got charged second time. ..with job duties issue. .???

ECAS updated just today, don't know exactly around when. I just checked now, had been busy whole day.

Also, I understand my file is with NDVO and not WVO.

Don't worry . . . you are not alone

If you want to be happy than don't compare your timeline with others. There are many factors on which the proceedings are done. Some factors are beyond our control like :-

1. preference being given to NOC with max no. of applicants or hot NOC.

2. NDVO is over loaded as compare to other VO

3. Funniest of all, may be our file is handed over to some lazy officer for processing

Have patience and enjoy waiting . . .

NOC: 2172,
application received by CIC: 03 Nov 2014.
Method of payment: CC.

Unfortunately, my application was returned to me.

"You have not provided sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC.
You have not provided sufficient evidence that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties.
Therefore, I am not satisfied there is sufficient evidence that you meet the work experience requirement for the occupation as described by the NOC - 2172 - Database analysts and data administrators."

And, with all the information collected from this forum, reading again the letter of recommendation from my employee and the contract with him, I understand why the officer came to this conclusion. The contract is a standard one, where I am named a "PROGRAMMER". And the letter doesn't say very much to help my case. The credit card was not charged.

The application was send back to me on 17 dec 2014. I have received the package on 6 feb 2015.

Does this means that the CIC officer is checking our Job descriptions with the NOCs lead statements and NOC duties even before they charge our CCs ??

Our initial understanding was that the CIC will check our Job descriptions and duties after they charge our CCs (when calculating our points)and They will do this when they doing the Possible Eligibility Review and if the out come of the positive eligibility review is negative, they will send us the NER. Isn't this the usual methodology we were thinking what is happening in CIC when we send a new application?

By looking at the above explanation by the CIC officer, it looks like they are doing the points calculation even before they charge the CCs. And what could they be doing at the stage of PER?

My CC was charged on 2nd Feb (NDVO), please help me with following clarity:

# Does it mean that all of my documents are proper and they have reviewed the same in detail.

You are charged. This means that your application has passed Completeness check.


# They have calculated the points and I meet the expectations and requirement.

Point calculation, Job details match are done after charging. Your application will be placed through Eligibility review.

1. During the Eligibility Review, they check and award points for the following 6 selection factors

• Education
• Work Experience
• Age
• Language Proficiency
• Adaptability
• Arranged Employment

2. In addition to these 6 factors, they check for the proof of funds as per the guidelines. They also do the background check for the above at this point before awarding points( they confirm the job duties comply with requirements for that particular NOC and that experience documents are satisfactory.

If your application gets 67 or more points as per the documents submitted, you will receive PER. else, you will receive NER



# What is the process between CC charge to PER & PER to MR at CIC

CC to PER - Refer to the above bullet point for reference. After PER, Your file gets transferred to VO, Once VO starts processing. You will get MR from VO

# If my CC is charged, is it possible to check the status somewhere online, if yes, please share the link and what details would be required.

You can check application status on eCAS (Provided you have the UCI number or file number). First line is displayed after Data Entry, the step following Cost recovery at CIO. This is when an electronic file is created in GCMS. PER, AOR and file transfer don't trigger a CAS update.

hi friends,

please help me i already poted a query but did not get a reply... My application recvd date is sep25th applied under NOC2281, my dd charged according to bank on dec18th we did not receive a PER yet and mailed CIC on dec14th but did not get a reply yet. Tried calling CIC around 5to6 times but they said we cannot tell anything on calls from INDIA. please guide if i can do anything...

I completed medical on 9th January and still no update about 3rd line. its been a month now...wait and watch

Just want to confirm one thing

I completed my medicals on february 3

Still no third line update... Just want to confirm whether third line will be updated only after i send proof of medicals to ndvo?? Or it will get automatically updated???
The hospital was e-medical enabled

I will be send proof of medical along with PCC and RPRF DD in march
