Unfortunately, I received the entire application package returned from CIC, with a letter stating that I do not meet the requirements of Regulation 10 of IRPA because of the missing/invalid Birth Certificate (for myself and my spouse) as shown in the enclosed Appendix C.

I am an expat working and living in Singapore from quite some time, hence I got the Birth Certificate issued from High Commission of India (HCI) in Singapore, in the standard format which they use for issuing the Birth Certificates. I realized that, HCI only uses passport details to issue the birth certificate which CIC does not accept and hence CIC returned me the application. CIC has indicated that they accept secondary school records which show the date of birth.

Pls suggest that if I resend my application, should I send the application package as it is with the additional documents (secondary school certificates) or should I atleast revise two forms: Generic Application Form and Fee Payment Form which are crossed (a cross mark on top of the forms) by CIC.

Pls suggest.

It happened to me.. my first app dated 12 May was returned due to the same issue.. i had also got it from the Indian embassy in Oman and they rejected it.

second time, i submitted the same thing alongwith an affidavit and it was accepted.

you can try your luck, but i think the option will be EE.

My question is regarding Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). I am from Pakistan and have been living/working in middle east for the last four years. The PCC for my current country of residence I got easily, but how I get it for the period I spend in Pakistan from here. Should I
1. Go to Pakistan to get it?
2. Can I send an old one that I brought from Pak when I was coming here 4 years back?
3. I called to Pak Embassy here but they refuse to give PCC and advice me to either go Pak for it or get help of any friend who get it there on my behalf.

I have been blessed with a baby on 28th december and last week only i received my MR request from NDVO. Can anyone help with the following queries of mine

1. What all documents need to be updated to get baby added to the application
2.Do we Update the "General Application Form" initially submitted to CIC or we refill that form again. I am asking this because if we fill a new application form then the barcode id will be different for the initial form submitted to CIC and the new from
3. the 150 CAD DD fees was addressed to whom and was it payable in Newdelhi or Canada.
