Kalci | my comments below

1. Visa validity counts 1 year from the date of Medical test, so if u r issued visa in may 2015 and medicals done in dec 2014, your visa validity will be till next dec 2015 or till the date of passport expiry which ever is less.
2. Once landed and finished the formalities advisable to get the PR card first, and then plan to come back to native. PR card also has an expiry date mentioned.
3. No mandatory thing to bring the exact amount we showed at the POF form during application. but you need to declare at immigration check if you carry more than $10000.
4. There is no such season, for any employment/job. There are some special part time jobs we can say which arises during some festivals.

Guys,
Anyone landed in canada ,Please clear my doubt:
1.What is the method of showing Proof of fund?
Suppose if i am landing,is it mandatory to take my proof of funds in transferable form or can i show our fixed deposits papers in INDIA?
The doubt arise because,i thought of taking a leave from current job and will finish the landing. Then laterr stage will move permanently.

Any MR's by NDVO today?

Hi,

Just want an advise, yesterday i recieved an email from London VO requiring me to submit photo for me and my dependents, because the photo that we submitted in CIO is not as per specification. But i remember i just followed the photo requirements coming from their website before, i dont know why they said it's not from their specification..

Another thing, is it the right time to tell the VO that my wife is 1 month pregnant together with the revised photo that i will submit? or should i wait before the MR will come?

My timeline:
Docs reciept: 29-Sep-14
CC charge: 13-Dec-14
PER recieved: 9-Jan-14
NOC: 2131

Please need advise urgently.

Thanks

+1 to your positive approach.

Very well said... Most of the times, we come across people who keep complaining about visa offices and hence it was very refreshing to see someone showing the other side of the story..

I second your view.. And hats off to visa offices for bringing such joy to people all around the world :D

yes you do get status Updates and stuff on Saturday and Sunday .. that shows how much pressure they have to reach deadline and adhere to what has been promised for EE.

Its time to show some gratitude to people who are working behind the scenes ..

I guess All VO's are doing good job in their respective way.. only things is the activities outsourced to third parties with SLA's which is reflected in the GCMS notes.
ALL VO's and everybody involved in bringing happiness to people lives in getting started with their dream to make some thing different and better than what it is .. MY RESPECT TO YOU ALL !!!!!!

Keep up the good work !!!!!

Congrats to all you've got through, in this race!!

Unfortunately, I received the entire application package returned from CIC, with a letter stating that I do not meet the requirements of Regulation 10 of IRPA because of the missing/invalid Birth Certificate (for myself and my spouse) as shown in the enclosed Appendix C.

I am an expat working and living in Singapore from quite some time, hence I got the Birth Certificate issued from High Commission of India (HCI) in Singapore, in the standard format which they use for issuing the Birth Certificates. I realized that, HCI only uses passport details to issue the birth certificate which CIC does not accept and hence CIC returned me the application. CIC has indicated that they accept secondary school records which show the date of birth.

Pls suggest that if I resend my application, should I send the application package as it is with the additional documents (secondary school certificates) or should I atleast revise two forms: Generic Application Form and Fee Payment Form which are crossed (a cross mark on top of the forms) by CIC.

Pls suggest.

Hii all,,

I recieved my per few weeks before, i am constructring my home and wants to take loan from bank, will it be an issue with my process. Even after taking loan my assets will be more than liabilities and will satisfy the funds requirement. Any advice please.

Thanks and Best Regards.

Dear Ahmedmud..Ensure that you maintain enough funds in ur bank account which equals the amount that you need to show in POF. making transaction out of that account does not effect you in any way and on the same way taking loan from bank too wont effect you.

I am very sorry to hear about your case.
Unfortunately, The only way to do it now my friend is to apply through EE. FSW 2014 was over on december31st. 2014. Therefore you cannot resubmit your application and missing docs based on FSW 2014. Try EE and I wish you the best of luck.

Very sorry to hear your news. May a better opportunity knock your doors very soon.

Just wanted to check: Was your DD/ CC encashed?

Are there any Sept applicants who have been charged but haven't received PER yet?

My friend has applied on Sept 3 and has been charged in early Dec but hasn't received PER yet. He is in NOC 0111

He has emailed CIC but has not yet received answer.

Same with me. Application received on sept 25. 0013, DD charged dec 19. No PER or any email yet. Wrote to CIC, no reply. Called up helpline, they said they aren't mandated to give out such info. Finally, after a few calls, got through an agent who listened patiently and gave out my UCI no. So without any email, now I can track on eCAS which says my app is in process. Nothing in junk, trash email either as I check regularly. So I would say tell your friend to keep calling the helpline till he succeeds.

I have just recieved PCC request. I got married during this process. What I docs I need to submit for my wife

I hope for the best dear, I also got same request from LVO but no one has replied my post yet. Let us see if we get some seniors advice.
