Hi Everyone,

I just received request from London VO to send them photos as per their specification within 45 days. As they did not find photos sent with initial application meeting the requirements.

Does it mean all other documentation has been reviewed and acceptable. This email footer shows that it is sent by the medical division.

My ECAS status still shows first line.

My time line as follows:

NOC : 0112
Application Received: 26 Sept, 14
PER received: 8 Jan, 15
Photos requirement received: 6 Feb, 15

Hey Guys I am a july applicant please help ,

Any Estimated time gap between Medicals and Passport Request?? What about the possibilities of Verification after Medicals..??

NDVO is only issuing DM and PPR to 217* series. Other NOC's are less active. Seems like we need to continue to remain patient.
Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot even buy CAD without passport and visa copy, so can't take advantage of the low CAD to INR exchange rate.

I am not the only person here that feels the waiting for PPR is "unbearable" .. I observed it is a common feeling between all the applicants. And yes, I will be able to cope with the challenges ahead :) And whenever I see there is a way to make these challenges less for me and for the rest of the people I will ask for it .. for that reason I gave my feedback to the ECAS service . I guess it is not such a difficult thing for CIC to make some improvements for their service. If they ask us to give our opinion we should tell them: we need more information that will make our life easier and will reduce the amount of emails sent by the applicants asking about the status of their applications.

I agree with Glad... The problem is not with waiting only, as the new life deserves it. However, what makes it unbearable is the uncertainty. We all have our life plans, work etc... all our plans depends on knowing what are the results of this process and when are the next steps. For me the more unbearable thing is waiting long time to see anything positive (PER Email). The life is full of challenges and we shall face it. Immigration is full of challenges and we shall struggle to get what we want (no gain without pain). That's why we have the right to know the approximate time for the next steps in order to plan our life. We cannot just travel the next day we get a visa.

Guys,
Anyone landed in canada ,Please clear my doubt:
1.What is the method of showing Proof of fund?
Suppose if i am landing,is it mandatory to take my proof of funds in transferable form or can i show our fixed deposits papers in INDIA?
The doubt arise because,i thought of taking a leave from current job and will finish the landing. Then laterr stage will move permanently.
Please advice..

As Banks can't give you loan without securing it, means they will issue loan up to certain percentage of the asset they keep from you, so that they can recover their loan without any hitch.
So taking loan from bank proves that the worth of your asset is more than your liability and you can easily payback. So for me its not an issue at all, you can prove it in your balance sheet and also you can use the terms and conditions of your loan to support your statement.

DEAR AHMED. YOUR CONCERN IS GENUINE. LOAN WOULD NOT IMPACT YOUR POF REQUIREMENT AS LONG AS YOU ARE NOT EXPENDING ANYTHING FOR THE HOUSE CONSTRUCTION OUT OF THE POF SUBMITTED EARLIER TO CIC.

I HOPE THE QUERY IS ANSWERED.

Kalci | my comments below

1. Visa validity counts 1 year from the date of Medical test, so if u r issued visa in may 2015 and medicals done in dec 2014, your visa validity will be till next dec 2015 or till the date of passport expiry which ever is less.
2. Once landed and finished the formalities advisable to get the PR card first, and then plan to come back to native. PR card also has an expiry date mentioned.
3. No mandatory thing to bring the exact amount we showed at the POF form during application. but you need to declare at immigration check if you carry more than $10000.
4. There is no such season, for any employment/job. There are some special part time jobs we can say which arises during some festivals.

Hi Palak,

I could see multiple questions on the same point of POF. As you mentioned, it is not mandatory to bring the amount of funds declared at the time of application, so how relevant is this POF checking at the time of landing by CBS and what do they want to conclude out of it.
