Quick Update: Got my Passport back today and also completed my landing. It was hardly 10 min process for me. Best wishes to all of you.

After a long wait and so many ifs and buts

Finally i got status update, it's "Decision Made"


I applied for FSW-2014 before joining this forum, Hence could not took advantage of this wonderful forum for filling up forms and submitting application.
I joined this forum week after my application and since then i am associated with lot many people through this and regularly getting idea that as and when my application is reaching next stage.
It is a wonderful experience, hopefully i will get PPR & Visas soon. I am open to any queries, try to resolve to the best of My knowledge.

U can carry even 1 million dollar in cash...there is no such limit.Its just that u have to declare at customs if you carry 10K or more ....if anyone doesn't believe it they can call 1-204-983-3500 or 1-506-636-5064 from outside Canada ....For within Canada its 1-800-461-9999

Did someone recently receive FBI PCC request and is there a way to extend the timeline.

Unfortunately my earlier FBI PCC request was rejected due to fingerprints quality and submitted again on Dec 18th but now the website say its taking 14-16 weeks for the process.

Where did you learn this nonsense? You can bring any sum with you, just declare it at the customs - that's all.

Hello Experts,

Please help me in this situation:

MY VO asked me to submit additional docs. I am currently in Canada

1. Pay stubs - I was paid against invoices through western union money transfer( I worked for US company from India Jan2011 - Aug 2012 which got closed in 2013)

Is it good to provide Invoices copies and also i have some copies of my timesheets submitted during my employment??????????? Please advice

2. Bank account to which that money deposited - I have online access to one of my Indian account which gives me statement of 2012 onwards)

Is that enough to provide record of Jan 2012-Aug 2012.

My another account is closed and I don't have access to it

3. Past email communication - I have 3-4 email from my manager(USA company email id) on my personal email. As I can not access my emails on company's id coz company is closed now and the hard disk in which i stored data got corrupted.

Is that 3-4 emails enough???????

4. Any other docs related to employment - i have approved H1B copy from my employer but I could not go to US due to some family issues and kept working from India. Also, I have a recognition Certificate

5. I have healthy relationship with my US employer and is ready to give any reference.

What best i can ask him to support me????????????

Please advice - are all these available docs good enough to satisfy VO.

I need an advise...

My husband has NZ work visa however currently he is here in India.

Can I go for upfront medical for him as he might go back soon. I recieved PER but no medical request as of now.

If we get his medicals done from NZ, will that impact my timelines. How easy it is to have medicals done for me and my son from here and for my Husband from NZ.

Please suggest.

I got my medicals done from NZ and it's too expensive out there. Had to spend 600 NZD for the medicals.
It's much better to get it done together if you are in India and then send it across to the visa office.

I received my FBI clearance today. in the report it reads "This identity history summary is provided pursuant to 28 CFR 16.... Solely for you to conduct a personal review and/or obtain a change, correction or updating of your record. <b> This Idhs is not provided for the purpose of licensing or employment or any other purpose enumerated in 28 CFR 20.33. </b>

is that normal? or did I apply and wait for 4 months for a different kind of report? People that got their FBI clearance, please let me know.

It is not illegal. YOu just have to declare that you have more than 10,000. That's it.
