Happy to announce that I have just received PPR Alhumdulillah. ECAS still says In Progress.
Something to note: My case was handled by NDVO but when I sent them my documents (MR / PCC etc) i also requested them if i can have my stamping done at LVO as I am in UK and will be here from some time. I had also raised a CSE for the same. They did not respond but the PPR email does say that I need to submit the passports to LVO.

Thanks and all the best to you all.

I'd completely missed this. This if the first PPR for June applicants on the forum, right? or did I miss anymore?

What is the best way to show POF at the time of port entry ?

1. Travel cheques
2. Travel Cards
3. Opening an account from India (in which we can put CAD and which can be later activated in Canada )

Please suggest .

Option 3 http://www.scotiabank.com/ca/en/0,,2,00.html and I read that they provide credit card as well before landing, if I am not wrong

If I get medical done today and my spouse gets it done two weeks later. From which date will both of us get PR visa?

All the IME number under your application are tracked and my best guess is you dont get third line update unless all the medicals of all members are received. And post that PPR request would come together for all members along with principal applicant. I am not sure for visa date though as it is valid an year from the date of medicals

NDVO, NOC 2171, app date 3rd July, PER 28th Oct 2014
No MR/PCC, no second line update

Is there anyone from NDVO with app date before 3rd July and PER before 28th Oct but still no MR/PCC, no second line update?
Dunno what's happening to my application.

regards,
Kishcanada

Sounds a bit late now.

Please request for GCMS and see where the file is at. But that too you get after 30 days.

So in parallel drop a mail to NDVO asking for status.

Today got an email from London VO to submit the Photographs again as the initially submitted doesn't meet the requirements..they don't ask for any other documents.

At this stage, have they checked and verified all other documents or they will wait for the photo and then proceed further with other documents?

Anyone with similar situation?

I'd advise raise a CSE with NDVO first abt updating change of employment...then depending on their reply (if they ask you to contact Poland VO instead)-
Send the Form with Updated Employment History, Relieving Letter of old company, and Joining Letter of ur new company...
Explain in a cover letter (draft this carefully) that there was a delay/confusion in processing ur Final working date on your Relieving Letter....and you were still working on transition for the next 7 days hence you didn't update the Employment Change Details at the time of sending application but later the company processed your Relieving Letter with final working date as 31st only.....Be extremely polite and add a line abt sincere apology- not meant to misrepresent in any way....As long as u act fast and inform the VO quickly on your own, I feel it'd be fine...they r experienced ppl, they'd have seen the multiple issues ppl face at their workplaces over the years...

Experienced Seniors please comment further if your opinion is different...

Thanks a ton Arkscan...Yes i will write to NDVO stating that I have quit my previous organization...I wish to write the following

Dear Sir/Madam,

Sharing my details along with a file number....

I wish to inform you that I recently received an AOR from the Warsaw VISA office. Since there was a major delay and confusion about my last working day with my previous employer, I stated the company as a current employer. However, the company chose to record the last day of the month on the reliving letter. This was mainly because I couldn't for some personal reason attend work, the former employer took 31st of August as a last working day. My genuine apologies for this confusion and did not intent to misrepresent any information.

looking forward for other senior members to help me draft this better if possible....

I think it will be the date of medicals of the primary applicant, not 100% sure about it though.

can we apply for tourist visa to Canada while having fsw app?

NDVO is also busy in updating status "Decision Made"....only thing is, it is being done for the applicants who either do not exist in this forum or not active here. (Just look for the active members in this forum... I think you will not count upto 3 figures and compare these numbers with total pending applications @ NDVO..!!....feels good..?? :P :P :P)

amen..! ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

hahahaha :P :P :P :P
