Hi Guys,

Need help!!!

I intend to submit passports tomorrow. I read on VFS website that the picture can be clicked there if we want to....Will it be instant thing or i need to re attend on a different date to submit passports post the picture. Please suggest??


I know its silly however the Anxiety and excitement has created a mental block.

Please check if your city office has picture clicking facilty.

If it has .. It is an instant delivery photo thing. You get them in 5 minutes maximum

Dear Bodi,

Please advise the DD to be made is in favour of whom??? Also, all these docs are required to be sent to NDVO.

DD in favour of The Receiver General for Canada. You have to send all documents to NDVO.

Now I have few questions.

1. VO eligibility completed?
2. Whether criminality and security checks completed?
3. Why they are not asking for PCC or any other doc (suppose partial PCC submitted).
4. When they will send me Medical Request.

Additionally, What alldocuments should i carry? Is it just the passport and the PPR email?

Carry the PDF print attached in the PPR email. Fill the Bio Information pages by hand.

Carry two photocopies of passport bio pages. Most VFS have got instant photo click facility available, check the VFS website for details.

Hi Guys!

my initial application was returned for CAP reached. Resubmitted it with a different NOC 0111 on 10th Dec and got my CC charged on 28th Jan.

I've been reading this forum for quite sometime and this forum is very positive & helpful.

My understanding for delay in issuing MR looks like, visa is valid for 1 year from medicals and all other process after medical is taking long time to clear.

May be CIC is trying to clear backlogs before they issue MRs, as this will give ample time to land in Canada. This is just my thought.

Could you please let us know when was ur first application receive date and when did u get back ur first returned application ? I hope ur first NOC was NOC 1112. Isn't it ?

brothers , do you know how long does it take after app. receiving date/ or CC/DD charged , for the e-case to go alive ?

because I'm DD 5th Dec. applicant, and my bank says that he can't know if my DD has been encahsed or not yet .. and I've saw many other forum members who managed to get their UCI through calling the CIC call center. So, I'm planning to call them and try my luck to see if they will provide me with my UCI or not.

If I got it, will it be useful for me in this stage ? will I be able to check anything online ?

Please I need your opinion because I'm very worried..

HELLO LEO,
Normally it takes 10 -15 days for per after cc is charged as u have used a lawyer....
the lawyer must have filled in his email id in your application form on which the cio will send the PER email..
so please check with your lawyer...
