When we say " More the countries we visit , the longer it gets to clear security checks". I have visited 5 countries on visit visa for vacations but never stayed in any of places beyond a fortnight. Will the security checks still take time?

I had travelled in 6 countries on tourist Visa on short stays of 3 to 7 days. I do not think it will effect security checks.

Hi. I am in a similar situation.
My wife is 7 months pregnant as well and I am still waiting for MR.
While I know there is an option of doing medicals before MR I am still waiting for MR to arrive.

X ray is totally safe.
My wife's doctor has allowed it as well.
It exposes the foetus to minimum levels of radiation which are not harmful at all.

That's because it's your wife's third trimester and most of the organs are already formed. But there is a risk in 1st and 2nd trimester and the effects are not fully studied. You should never take risks with these things. Max there will be a delay of few months.

I just hope it is true. Wondering NDVO has not yet started issuing PPR to June applicants, how long will they take to clear security checks for them?

I am an August applicant and trying to figure out a probable timeline for myself.

They will send by Registered Post. The stamp on it was for Rs. 42. Mine was not delivered even though the address was perfect. I got some doubt and went to the Post Office, they made me wait for 1 hour and found my documents. I was lucky this way. So, if someone does not get the post delivered to their door within 7 days, they can go to their post office and find out.

First of all, PER & AOR is not same.

So, assuming that you received PER on 16 Dec and your VO is NDVO, you can expect MR anytime from Feb'15 mid-week.

I have similar dates. I am not expecting anything very soon. I am personally looking at February End. Let's hope it happens soon enough!
