what is the maximum day limit for CIC to update 'Medicals received' after hospital uploads the medicals ?

I'm awaiting MR from LVO, and have tried to predict when it will come. Perhaps a slightly academic exercise, but something to keep the mind occupied

1. Out of 713 LVO applicants in the spreadsheet, 340 have received PERs
2. Out of these 340, MRs have been reported by 96, and I estimate a FURTHER 55 have received MRs but NOT updated the spreadsheet (these are people whose last spreadsheet was prior to 1st Oct)
3. For those who have reported MRs, the average # of days since PER date is 67 days, and the standard deviation of this is 29 days
4. Assuming this is a normal distribution, 68% of applicants should MRs within 96 days of PER (1 std dev), and 95% of applicants within 125 days (2 std devs)

Attached spreadsheet shows this data filtered for LVO applicants who have received PER, and sorted by PER date. For those MRs which I assume have been received but not updated in the spreadsheet, I have filled the MR date as "Likely received" and shaded those rows similar blue to the MR cases.

Did you also consider that number of apps and PER went down after July.

Also, can someone tell me how to deal with CIC's request for renewed passport photocopies? They have asked me to submit those things by end of Feb but I may not have my new passport with me by then!

In case a woman in couple of months pregnant, then how to go about X-Ray test when you receive Medical request. Since I believe, it is not safe to have x-ray test for a pregnant lady, Is there any alternative route available????

You may require a UK and US transit visas. Please check with the airline you are flying with or the respective embassies.

When can I expect it return back due to cap filled? Anybody have any idea?.

Also, I have sent Demand Draft , which will expire in March? what is the process to encash my DD.

LVO has asked me to pay RPRF, how do I pay in CAD and online using Credit Card?

In the same email they have asked me to submit PCC, copy of new passport and ME results by end of Feb. Can I send them each document separately? I mean I have PCC ready, I can pay RPRF and send them out these two items now. And send ME test confirmation and passport copy when available?

It looks like they are routing files to less crowded places for faster processing. That answers why they remove visa processing office from application. This ensures faster processing and a good news for all as ndvo is going to get some breathing space

I am on the same boat. Got PER on 28 oct 2014 and second line was updated on 30 dec 2014. No any updates or email thereafter. I have read somewhere in different forum that each processing period last upto 8 weeks. So, lets hope we will get MR within this month. I have one query, do they (NDVO) have really send some files to less crouded Visa office? Any informations will be appreciable..

NOC 2171, NDVO, app date 3rd July, PER 28th Oct.
No 2nd line update, and no MR/PCC yet. Had travelled on work to 3 foreign countries.
Is this the reason for delay in processing?

Please suggest if I can take any action to speed up application processing?

My NOC and timeline is exactly same as yours including number of countries visited. I was also worried about second line not getting updated. However, yesterday i got a pleasant surprise and my second line is updated as" We have started processing your application on 28th Jan 15". However, i havent rcvd the mail for MR yet.
Dont worry, i think they dont follow the sequence it seems and picking up the files randomly. You'd also get the second line updated soon.

My application is dated 16th July and got MR on 15th Jan.

I do not know why there is passport request from New Delhi Visa Office.
Any information on how many may applicant received passport request from New Delhi Visa Office.

Hi All,

I had a question.

I have received my visa, which is valid for almost 1 year. But it is a single entry visa. I intend to visit Canada in the next month to activate my visa and do the initial forms etc, and request PR card. But I dont intend to physically move there until later in the summer. Now will they send the PR card to my address overseas, and if not, what is the process for my single entry visa if my initial visit in only a quick one to activate the card, anyone have any idea?

VO asked me or Medical
my wife is Pregnant expecting baby delivery in first of May

my questions ...
1. i want to postpone the medical until the delivery, so can i postpone the medical for the whole family or just my wife?
2. if i do it on 1-2-2015, and she do it on 1-6-2015 , then the visa expiry when we will get it will be 1-2-2016 not 1-6-2015 right ?
3. if i proceed with the medical for my wife , and inform the VO when i get passport request that she is pregnant, this will not stop them from issuing the visa ?
4. if i do the medical and got the visa but did not travel before the delivery , and deliver the baby outside Canada , what will happen ?
5. if i postpone my wife medical and deliver the baby outside Canada , what will happen ( new forms , new fund proof , medical for the new baby) ?
