Hi All,

Just a query. One of my friends, who has applied for FSW through a consultancy just told me that his consultant had told him that there is some problem with online payment of RPRF..

I have payed the fee online and is waiting for PPR, the info gave me a chill..

just wanted to check with the ones who had received PPR (NDVO) whether any of them had done online payment.

Thanks and All the best to all of us..

Hi guys, i need a advice from you...
I received PER on 12 /01/2015,but visa office is not mentioned anywhere in the mail. I got a reply from CIC that my file is now transferred to Moscow visa office, whereas I am currently staying in India and I selected New Delhi as my visa office.
Pls suggest what needs to be done.

Thanks for the wishes everyone ;) ;) ;) ;)

Hi friends,
NOC 2171, NDVO, app date 3rd July, PER 28th Oct.
No 2nd line update, and no MR/PCC yet. Had travelled on work to 3 foreign countries.
Is this the reason for delay in processing?

Please suggest if I can take any action to speed up application processing?

Regards,

Hi All,

Just wanted to share my excitement and enthusiasm as have booked my tickets now. Will be leaving India in the second week of march and visit London for a couple of weeks and will carry on my journey to the Maple leaf country. I will be travelling from London to Toronto via New York(JFK), with 3 hrs layover. Just wondering if I need to apply for the Transit visa for me and family??
Can anyone share their experience please?

Many Thanks,
Harry

Congrats.

As far as I know, a US transit visa will be needed.

It looks like they are routing files to less crowded places for faster processing. That answers why they remove visa processing office from application. This ensures faster processing and a good news for all as ndvo is going to get some breathing space

There is this guy from Iran, after getting visa stamped on his passport he delayed landing for some reason for about a month, may be preparing for it... Then suddenly one day he got call from his visa office paris that his visa is revoked, advised him not to enter canada, his ecas also changed from decision made to back on in process and he is put on hold!

Below is his post, he has created a separate thread for it.

from: Eienkei on January 15, 2015, 01:12:55 pm

Today I received a call from my visa office, asking me not to land in Canada until further notice. Does anybody else have the same experience? My visa was issued last month. I am so worried and confused... What do you think it is?

You guys can read his whole story there.

Summary: please do your landings asap, as soon as you get your passports back, don't plan to land in summer or don't delay your landing.... No one knows this could happen with anyone cos it happened with some one. Getting visa is not a surety that you will get PR but after landing at least you are safe. Make your preparations ready in advance.

I'm awaiting MR from LVO, and have tried to predict when it will come. Perhaps a slightly academic exercise, but something to keep the mind occupied :)

1. Out of 713 LVO applicants in the spreadsheet, 340 have received PERs
2. Out of these 340, MRs have been reported by 96, and I estimate a FURTHER 55 have received MRs but NOT updated the spreadsheet (these are people whose last spreadsheet was prior to 1st Oct)
3. For those who have reported MRs, the average # of days since PER date is 67 days, and the standard deviation of this is 29 days
4. Assuming this is a normal distribution, 68% of applicants should MRs within 96 days of PER (1 std dev), and 95% of applicants within 125 days (2 std devs)

Attached spreadsheet shows this data filtered for LVO applicants who have received PER, and sorted by PER date. For those MRs which I assume have been received but not updated in the spreadsheet, I have filled the MR date as "Likely received" and shaded those rows similar blue to the MR cases.

ANY JUNE 19 OR PRIOR APPLICANTS LEFT TO RECEIVE MEDICAL REQUEST FROM NDVO?

PLEASE SHARE INFORMATION
18th June applicant

Waiting, Waiting, Waiting & .........

my kid is 3 years 8 months old, we are following his vaccination and immunization at Agha Khan Hospital Karachi. I have their vaccination card in which his all records are mentioned like the name of vaccine, date, amount, level of dosage, how many or number of shots given etc etc etc.

now I have read and heard that there are some vaccination forms available on web that we have to fill and get signed by our Kid's doctor so that it can be used when we ought to seek school admission in Canada.

I have been searching on official websites of Canadian govt and Ontario govt but found no official forms like that. also nothing on the internet. just found this one form on this link of ChinaCanada.ca

http://www.chinacanada.ca/ss/down/immunization.pdf

now I need your advice and input.....should I download and fill this form and get it signed or there are any other updated and new forms for this thing? or my own hospital's record card is enough for this purpose? is there anything else I have to do in this regard?

thanks in advance.
