Hi all,

Does Colombo VO send an AOR (Acknowledgement of receipt) when CIC tranfers the file to them?

Re-posting! :-\

Hey Guys!

Does anyone has experienced of Online Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) by Delhi Police. As I understood from their website, issuance of certificate in 7 days, fees is 250 INR and can be paid online through credit card. My concern is, as they issue a digitally signed certificate, is this is acceptable with London Visa Office. Guys share your views on this.

Cheers!

In case the docs are returned, do they notify via email or otherwise? and how long do they take to reject after receiving the application?

Hi drngopal, I'm no senior but I believe as your ECAS status says In Process, so you are in d safe zone! Also, you might want to check your spam/junk mail (in case you haven't already done so).

It may also happen that the CIC officer who entered ur email ID in the system might have done a mistake and hence the email never got delivered (I say this because there is a letter wrong in my address that displays in ECAS i.e. human error)

Cheers,

Greetings....
I am looking for a response for question at the earliest please:

For PCC, I see that CIC is asking as below:

"Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate for Principal Applicant and Spouse."

I am from India, does this mean, I shall get PCC from all the places in India where I stayed/ Lived more than 6 months? I stayed in several places for Work.... Please guide me in this regard... thanks for your help in advance!

Regards,

Walkin to Nearest PSK or Police Station it is a matter of not more than 3 hours. In case it is a PSK, Ensure to take an Appointment which opens at 5 P.M . Indian Time every day and you can get the Appointment for next possible option.

In case you need more details feel free to ask.

Hope it helps !
