The email for MR request looks something like this.

I am not sure what exactly they wanted to write on point 1. There is a colon ) after my name but nothing written after that. Do you think there is any issue or something missing from my request letter?

thanks for sharing information, want to share when i was gone to PSK for PCC they deny to issue me the same by saying "why you want PCC? pl show us the letter /proof CIC asking for same.."

i want someone comment on this, how to close this ? This was my experience with Ahmedabad PSK .

For someone who asked what's the difference between getting PCC, from local PS / PSK

The differences between this 2 places are.

PSK - Online registration> fill form > take appointment > pay online
- from Psk > verification goes to local police station > then to SP/commissioner office > returns back to PSK
- certificate issued = Police Clearance Certificate = PCC
- extra - they do stamp on our PP, as well with PC

Local Police Station - No appointment/ walk-in > ask for a form > fill it > attached required docs
- after verification > docs goes to SP/Commissioner office > from here have to collect the certi after 10 days
- certificate issued = Police Verification Certificate = PVC
- they do not stamp on PP, just the certi is issued

This is for Gujarat, Not sure of other states

Else they do not have any other rights to ask other proofs beyond these 2.

No, they require only copies. If still want to send then send self attested copies.

What my personal thinking is :

Look at the MR / PPR / DM status being updated here in this forum.

on an average, few MRs or few PPRs with a gap of around 5-6 hrs in a day.

So...I dont think NDVO goes in idle mode for rest of the time in a day..!!

Only thing is, either ppl here are not in mood of updating their status or we are being impatient more then it's needed (including me).

I dont think NDVO after issuing 1-2 MRs, go to enjoy golf and comes back after 5-6 hrs and issues other MRs / PPRs.

They are working constantly...but somehow, the mystery is..."On which thing they are working constantly??? ??? ??? ???"

The other aspect is that there are probably a lot of FSW applicants out there who are not on this forum in the first place. So you have to allow for the fact that their applications are also being processed. Assuming 30% of total applicants (and I'm being conservative here; the number is probably more) are not members of this forum, only 7 out of 10 processed applications will be updated here.

DO only what is been asked, as VOs are very particular in what they have asked.

Actually I asked the above question because, in the cover letter shared in this forum, it is mentioned as below:

"New Passport bio pages with attestation"

so got confused what to do
