Hi ,
Can anybody tell me,
Is the Bank Draft of 550 CAD that we pay to "The Receiver General of Canada" cashed before our document is evaluated or after the evaluation and selection of the document has been done?
How long does it take for the selection process after the draft has been cashed?

Can some one plz tell the procedure to contact CIC to retrieve UCI number................20th Oct Applicant..............DD encashed on 2nd Jan as per Bank....no news yet....................

Over Phone:

Call at – +16139444000 (suggest 10am Canadian time would be best). Just follow the prompt for the correct numbers to direct you to an agent (1111131).

When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
- Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.

I cross checked the spreadsheet and it looks like we are still missing lot of updates.

You mentioned "additional IELTS scorecard", for your wife right? Does it mean, prior to sending this.. Your initial documents sent already contains your own original IELTS, correct? And that initial documents already satisfies your eligibility of 67 point mark, i presumed..

Just to make things clear. Your additional IELTS for your wife, is for the intention of gaining more points, am i right?

If these are so, of course your application will not be rejected.

For someone who asked what's the difference between getting PCC, from local PS / PSK

The differences between this 2 places are.

PSK - Online registration> fill form > take appointment > pay online
- from Psk > verification goes to local police station > then to SP/commissioner office > returns back to PSK
- certificate issued = Police Clearance Certificate = PCC
- extra - they do stamp on our PP, as well with PC

Local Police Station - No appointment/ walk-in > ask for a form > fill it > attached required docs
- after verification > docs goes to SP/Commissioner office > from here have to collect the certi after 10 days
- certificate issued = Police Verification Certificate = PVC
- they do not stamp on PP, just the certi is issued

This is for Gujarat, Not sure of other states
