5 year term for renewing PPR starts from:-

1. issue date of PPR

or

2. by end 1 year from the day of medical.

Correct me if i m wrong, one has to stay for 2 yrs in this 5 year term to become eligible for renewing PPR.

Very good question and I think Palak may answer this ?
Where is he ?

Hi Seniors and forumites,

Good morning !

I have observed that few of our members received their PER's at the earliest. The time gap between CC charged date and PER received is just 2 to 3 weeks. The fastest amongst all is Mr. babak_akbarzadeh's. Happy for that.

My query is why is such delay in others case. Is it becoz of NOC ??

Seniors and members pls reply ur valuable suggestions.

My time line:

NOC Code - 0112
Appl Recvd by CIC - 6th Nov '14
CC Charged - 9th Jan '15
VO - NDVO

+1 Thanks friend. I have already done it, but not from the next time :(
Serenity,
You can modify your post and edit the UCI for your own safety. Coz identity theft is a very big concern in Canada.

hi,

can someone tell me what exactly are the checks CIC does after CC charging and before sending PER?

Confirming the points meet 67? NOC is matching?

thanks for your valuable response.

thanks.
AVT

Yes one of the check is to make sure that you have 67 points and it also checks the validity of IELTS scores and your education assessments etc plus job duties are matching the NOC duties as mentioned by Govt of Canada in NOC book...

The 5year term validity you are referring to starts from the day you land. Since it's the day they activiate your PR status.

The Visa stamped is only valid for 1year from the date of your medicals. You should land within this timeframe in order for it not to be forfeited.. ;)

Thanks bro for +1...receiprocated same.

Few ppl got their Visa in Dec and many of us are still waiting for PPR....donno hw much imbalance this NDVO wants to create..!!! No likely pattern at al..!! really weird..
