Guys you don't see an instant update in ecas . Its an automated system and what I have observed it takes aminimum 2 days to see the update. Ndvo has got an admin department and they are the one who send emails. it only NDVo visa office has got admin department because of its sheer volume. I remember reading an interview which also clearly states a visa officer spends less than 45 minutes per file during each review. Once the file is approved it goes for a final review (based on one of my friends gcsm) report and then u can see it just waits for their call. People get rejected even during the final stage or they can ask to cone down for an interview if the security check raises a flag. I think most of ur application has completed all checks and just wait for a final round check by an officer. For me it looks like they have started the same last Thursday or Friday and they are doing it . The active number of users who reports here are less now. I am sure we will see lot more updates happening tommorow and this would continue from now onwards. I am expecting ndvo would finalize all of us in 8 months .

Is it a case that NDVO is sending PPR to unmarried applicant first? I have applied for family PR.

Can I ask from all of us to reduce the unimportant message such as any congratulations and so on.. to reduce the pages in order to find useful messages!

Please help to build a very good page!

Guys,

I think there is neither a correlation between MR Date & PPR nor between Application received date & PPR.

May be some check completion triggers PPR... Or depending upon officers Speed who is handling your case.

I really want to know how NVDO works??

+1 for your effort

Just relax....This may simply be a website error....Wat r u seeing on Ecas screen? U r able to login and see the first page with your name and address? R u able to see the table below PR Applications? Only the In-process link is missing?

Ppl who have got Aor won't simply have In-Process vanish even in case of a rejection by VO....Instd their In-Process status (on d 2nd page) will directly be updated to Decision Made without MR request...On the other hand if this happnd before PER, I'd be worried too... :)

FYI, in case you checked the 'Remove access' check-box- this is wat it says (I don't know how u wud have pressed this button unknowingly ::))-
Note: This means you or anyone else will no longer be able to access your application status and address information on this

website. You will have to contact us to learn about changes to your application status and to update your address information.

The in process is gone

All i can see is ' we are not able to c yur info.......
So in case u clicked this checkbox, u shudn't even be able to login to Ecas IMHO...

Friends,
I just left VISA OFFICE São Paulo here in Brazil with my passport and Confirmation of Permanent Residence in hands. This is a very exciting day and a true dream come true to me. I've been dreaming about Canadian immigration for 6 years now.

Thank you all SO MUCH for all the support, questions answered and all the help.

I'm going to Canada next week to visit a few friends. I hope this information is useful to other people: I've recently gotten a MULTIPLE ENTRIES VISITOR visa for Canada, this visa was issued a couple of weeks ago. When my immigration visa got issued, THEY DID NOT CANCEL my visitor visa. This means I can still land in Canada next week as a visitor and I WON'T HAVE TO DO THE IMMIGRANT LANDING PROCEDURES. This information was provided to me by an officer at the VO here in Brazil. She said all I have to do is show my Visitor visa when entering Canada. In case the immigration officer sees my Immigration visa all I have to do is let him know I'm currently visiting the country and will do my landing afterwards. No worries about that. My this information be of use to everyone in the forum!

Here's my timeline:

NOC 1123
Application at CIO: August 27th 2014
CC Charged: November 21st 2014
PER: December 14th 2014
Medical Request: December 30th 2014
Medicals Done: January 15th 2015
RPRF and Passport Request: January 19th 2015
Visa Issued: January 27th 2015

Total time of 5 months for the whole process.
Lightning fast!

I wish everyone absolutely all the best in their immigration process! Thank you for everything. I've got you all in my prayers.

Congratulations! That was so fast.

Wow! Congrats Fabio :).

Just one question: were you able to go to the Visa Office to get your visa stamped? Or did you had to use VAC Services?

Could you please describe that experience :)?

Friends,

Does anyone know if e-CAS also has information about temporary residence visas as well? I've applied for a temporary visa in addition to my permanent residence application. Will my new temporary visa application also start to appear on e-CAS?

Thanks for the response.
