Its not NDVO, actually it is VFS centers across the country, where you can submit your passport for visa stamping. they will provide a secure transport of your passport to the HIGH COMMISSION and will return back either to your home or you can collect from the VFS near your city..!!

Just a confusion, its VFS in your city - which you can use for secure transmission of your passport. we need to deposit our passport and collect it when VIsa is stamped. If this this is the procedure that what is appox time?
Can we directly go to NDVO and submit the passport, give respective fees, and collect it once visa is stamped. One of our friend told that many in the forum have done this. do you agree?

In our case, Primary applicant is renewing passport and changing her name (surname only as she is married) ... As application is in progress, will this be any problem.. she has already added spouse in application.

Hi buddy .. There is nothing to get depressed .. There are many July applicants waiting for their 2nd line and MRs .. Even I am one of them .. Not many August applicants got their 2nd line or MR.. so please wait .. you will hear good news before mid Febuary for sure.. All the very best
Please do not compare your timelines with others, because every case is a different case .. Few cases may go through lot of back ground verifications or the VO assisged to you is busy working on other high priorities ..

My Second Line got updated today, -------- Really a big relief for me...
Process started on January 23, 2015

today, 4th line got updated on my ECAS "4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
I have 2 queries on it,
1. In how many days, will I get my PPR email?
2. Once I send passport and then in how many days NDVO will return my stamped passport.
