Just to correct you i have given -1 first time only today.

Second i am not giving -1 for sharing the good news, i am giving -1 for ppl who are putting " Congratulations" afterwards any post and making this forum difficult to follow.

Yeah, i knew that bro. I just mentioned you as 1 of them. I understand i got it as well from you..heheh :P :P :P

I stand corrected by you. But no point in having all these, as if it matters and affect one's life..

But you do have point after i saw your explanation.. Atleast your direct enough to point it out.

All the best bro ;) ;D ;D ;D

Thank you Ashif bhai for bringing topic in light.

Actually, I came across a discussion with a guy who ordered a GCMS note. In his note, it was mentioned by VO that "linked in profile of the applicant and presented profile in application widely mismatched."

Donno what happened after that, but it is sure that LINKED IN profile or any other social profile of applicants are being cross-checked by VOs.

Guys Alert:

Dear All, This is just to make u cautious that Your Local Visa Office may check your LinkedIn , Facebook and Twitter Profile for background checking.

Usually most of the background checking responsibility is handed over to third parties which can includes employer verification/police clearance confirmation etc. So who have these Social website profiles are suggested to sync with ur application provided job designation (or "Make Invisible to Everyone" on privacy settings).

I have observed one Indian applicant (on 2012) whose Linkedin profile was indicating that he had worked on Law background but he is an Electrician under which he applied...

Later on he was asked for an interview by his Canadian Case officer...She behaved so rudely with the applicant for the mismatch between his application and LinkedIn profile.

As per applicant, he was actuaally an Electrician but he had taken law degree beside of this and practiced for this law activities. He have not declared his law degrees and jobs on his Schedule A background declaration form. Later he admitted his fault that he hid on his app.

The case officer was not satisfied what applicant declared on the interview....

That thread member have not updated his status later.

pl be patient ontolanjay... it may take 60-80 days for you to get your result..

First of all, this investigation is done because your chest xray must be abnormal and they just want to rule out TB.

Now, coming back to your question. That's because there are 2 reports Smear & Culture. Smear comes after 72 hours and Culture comes after 2 months. After 2 months, when your sputum culture report comes negative for all the 3 sputum samples that you must have given on 3 consecutive days, the doctor will see the report and guide you for a 2nd xray just to see that both the xray's are stable and unchanged. The 2nd Xray is just a formality and is a guideline as per CIC and it should be done on or after 90 days from the 1st Xray date. Once you complete your second Xray, you will see the third line in Ecas after 3-4 days. Best of luck for your reports.
