Hello Friends,

My CC was charged twice on 15&16th Jan, when do I expect to have the ECAS live? I was applying under 2 NOCs 0013 and 2281.

Ecas will get live around first week of Feb and per by around 10th Feb.

Guys, CPC -Ottawa has received my medical result (online) on January 15 according to the Doctors' office but my ECAS third line has not been updated as of today January 23rd.

Any idea how long dos it take for them to update the third line in ECAS?

Should be updated anytime in the next few weeks. I'd say probably next week, but I'd rather be more conservative so that I won't give you false expectations.

Am a 30th july applicant, Per received on 26th Nov, visa office NDVO, 0121, still the status is same "in process" , we have received ur....

Its going to be 60 odd days...its really tough to wait but trying to motivate myself as its a saying no news is good news...

Hi cincikid - I probably should've phrased my question better. Let me clarify:

The following is the request from CIC:

A) Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate from INDIA for you and your spouse. This must be received at this office by: 2015/03/07
B> Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate from UNITED ARAB EMITRTES for your spouse. This must be received at this office by: 2015/03/07


If you read point A) it's asking for from "each country" provide an original PCC from INDIA for you and your spouse. The language seems inconsistent. During the initial submission, I sent my India PCC and my wife's India PCC was not sent.

point B) again states the same as point A) initially but goes on to ask for PCC from United Arab Emirates for my spouse.

I'm confused because both points begin with..... from "each country" provide an original PCC..... and then goes on to clearly state the name of the country from which they need the PCC.

Hi Guys, Its very simple in terms of interpretation.
You need to send PCC of India for both, as the one you sent with the application must have expired by the time it reached CIO, so they are asking once again ONLY for india. USA pcc must have been considered, so they haven't asked for it specifically.

UAE PCC is specifically for your spouse, which needs to be submitted. which I suppose you have not submitted in the initial application package.

They cannot phrase both the request in one sentence, so they have split it into two.

Can they mention? "Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate from INDIA for you and your spouse and UAE PCC Only for your spouse.. !!. This must be received at this office by: 2015/03/07"
