I had got it done through Police commissioner's office. From PSK also it will come to local police station only. Commissioner's office will also send it to local police station.

Not necessary. If PSK deems fit, they issue the PCC there and then itself in 2 hrs. Many applicants have been issued PCC in 2 hrs flat, including me.

in my GCMS notes I recd it clearly says

Documents:- Acknowledgement of Receipt
Type- Auto Email
Status:- CANCELLED

This clearly shows that Delhi is cancelling AOR communication deliberately.
May be this info will be useful for many !

Manish is not suspecting kvirdi. He is sure. NDVO indeed has not sent any AOR this year.

New law will come into force in July. So, unless someone meets the old residency obligations and lodges the application for citizenship before that day, he will have to apply under the new system.

With lot of excitement and happiness, I like to inform that I received my passport back today with a nice MAPLE IMMIGRANT STAMP in passport, and a confirmation of PR letter for landing.

It is with lot of help from this forum, members, friends that I could successfully achieve this feat.. I learned a lot through this forum, and whole heartedly like to thank canadavisa.com for providing this platform.

I wish everyone good luck in their endeavors for getting PR and as for a happy and healthy living in Canada. Feel free to write message if you have questions or need any info.

Congrats! When yours were delivered to Ottawa? Did you provide CPP-O with a return label?

We got request on the 9th and the passports were delivered on the 14th. I suspect I won't get anything back at least until the end of next week.

NOC 0013 reached on 16th Oct -Payment Mode CC
NOC 0015 reached on 3rd Nov-Payment Mode DD
Noc 1123 reached on 3rd Nov0Payment Mode CC

I have received 1 charge on 5th Jan

My ECAS show 2 row stating application received on 16th Oct and another stating application received on 3rd Nov .
I have not received the PER mail yet

Is there anyone in the forum who has sent more than 1 applications.

Can some body guide on what needs to be done .... :-X

Has the new law been already declared???

Update: I checked and it says "Citizenship applicants will need to be physically present in Canada for a total of four out of their last six years. In addition, they will need to be physically present in Canada for 183 days per year for at least four of those six years. These provisions will come into force in approximately a year."
