Buddy dont worry !! my PER came in 32 days of CC charge and I have seen PER after 40-50 days, I havent seen many NER's ... If your Credit Card is charged u will surely receive a PER, u just need to achieve 67 points ... It is surely delayed becoz of the year end leaves of CIC.

You can even call CIC and ask for your UCI number in case you dont have it and check ECAS, if the first line is updated, your PER is on its way. Jst dnt worry man u ll surely land to Canada soon. Ma best wishes are with you !!
Thank you Himz for your encouragement. I will keepost hoping I'll get good news

Seniors here on forum. Pls help..
Is it that CIC will e-mail all applicants whose files are returned due to incomplete or document issued or it's not that ways. I read before about no e-mail from cio just sending package back. The thing is I have changed my address after the file submission.
Also I called cic customer care asking about the status but they told they don't have information on Fsw applications of Sydney

With internet connection I have the SS doesn't open to write. Can someone please update it for me. All details are shared in profile panel. :-[

Thanks,
Shweta

Strongly supports your advice Palak Patel.
Everyone please update SS not for benefit of other but for yourself because you will be in a better position to anlyze the sheet. Because if you will not follow this advice no one will follow and everyone will think that others will update and repercussion of this thought will cause everyone without knowledge because SS will be without any valid data. Therefore for your owe benefit everyone please udpate the data in SS about your case.

Attended CIIP program in Bangalore, India. Was very informative. It reminded me of my class XIIth days, just before the board exam. The teachers would give so many instructions- dos and dont's, must read "those" important sections, be on time, prepare well. Almost heard same instructions here. Life is all about preparing for exams and then successfully taming it.
My next board exam is about to begin, here I come Canada....

Hi,
what is the average time of mail delivery from Canada to middle-east?
My application returned on 13th-Jan according to the email I received from CIO, when can I expect to receive it?

Sorry to hear that. I have no idea about how long it takes for an application sent by CIO to be received in the middle-east but a few month before a friend of mine sent me a package by snail mail and it took 2 weeks to reach from US to Iran. Hope this helps.

I have received my PER in 17th October, 2014. Now there is no update from CIC. Should I be worried for that??

It is possible but only in case if points are less then 67 OR job description or experience certificate is not matching with what is mentioned in the NOC lead statement.

HELLO FRIENDS,

IN ALL THE TALK OF PPR GOING ON IN THE FORUM, I WOULD LIKE TO DIGRESS A LITTLE BIT FROM THE TOPIC.

IM A MAY 7TH APPLICANT WAITING WITH SECOND LINE SINCE 120 DAYS NOW. ALL THE GCMS AND CSE HAVE NOT GIVEN ME ANY DESIRED ANSWER. ONLY THING I KNOW IS FOR THE PAST 120 DAYS A THIRD PARTY AGENCY IS DOING BGC ON ME , AND STILL IS NOT ABLE TO CLEAR MY NAME TO NDVO.

THIS SAD STORY IS FOR CLOSE TO 150 PEOPLE WHO USED TO BE ACTIVE ON THE FORUM, BUT NOW FEEL NO ENERGY TO CONTRIBUTE BECAUSE OF THIS SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS.

I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE KEEP ALL OF US IN YOUR PRAYERS, AS YOU NEVER KNOW WHOSE PRAYER MIGHT WORK FOR US..

IM WRITING THIS LITERALLY IN TEARS AS I NEVER EXPECTED THIS MUCH HARD WAIT WHEN I APPLIED...

CHEERS TO ALL...LOVE YOU ALL...

Hi friend. Am truly sorry about your situation. Am also waiting for PER, it's 40 days since cc charge. Am much as I haven't waited as much as you I somehow understand what you are going through.
Don'the loose hope. Keep the faith

Thanks for your reply,

I did check both:

Noc 2171:

Information systems business analysts and consultants confer with clients to identify and document requirements, conduct business and technical studies, design, develop, integrate and implement information systems business solutions, and provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, security and service delivery.

Noc 2714:

Write, modify, integrate and test software code
Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements
Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
May lead and co-ordinate teams of computer programmers
May research and evaluate a variety of software products.

What If i do both? Which one should i use?

So which should i pick?

I applied to FSW2014 under 2171 and planned to apply to Express Entry Profile under 2171. But Indeed, as a technical consultant, I do align more to 2174. Should I change my profile?

Are there any Peoplesoft or SAP consultants here that can give any guide?

Dude, I got my PER in august and second line got updated on Sept 8th. Application submitted on May 5th.
However, there was some Enquiry today in my office from NDVO.
Any idea what they inquire about...please share experience. Thanks

Indresh u r getting too emotional about ur file - dont forget u r at the mercy of agencies and vo and other factors - just like you there are applicants worldwide - sometimes there are inventory followed sometimes dont - sometimes hot noc takes precedence sometimes something else - at time M.I instructions take priority

etc . i can keep going on.... - if u have decided to immigrate to Canada - two things pl note

persistence and hope - will get u there -

for a moment think about those who had their file returned or didnt make it

u r lucky to have file /uci - - safe on boat

good luck and be confident - nothing to panic

enjoy the lush greens of India till u immigrate.. :)
I bet u u dont get this chance once in Canada - u thrive for time - North American life is fast and tough.. so for now - go to local chaiye wala and sip a tea - well u see we cant do that here - I have to go to starbucks in miami or tim hortons in toronto

cheers
Lance

Dear CIIP Client,

You had confirmed your intention to participate in the Group Orientation (GO) that took place in Bangalore this week, however you failed to attend and we have not received an explanation for your absence.

The Government of Canada had committed significant resources to deliver the GO and the personalized My Action Plan (MAP) sessions. In addition, we had turned away a number of clients because the session was full. Your failure to attend has therefore not only deprived others of the opportunity to participate, but also wasted Canadian resources. Moreover, you have not taken advantage of a free service designed to enhance your job prospects in Canada.

Unless we hear from you within the next two days, we will initiate the process to close your file.

You paid for the processing your application and wasted zero Canadian resources. Also, the tone of the email that you quoted sounds rather like a scam than an official email from the visa office.
