How can we know that data enter has been done or not ?
I have UCI as I previously applied for visit visa,
My application for FSW2014 received on 17th september 2014 But did not hear anything from cic till today. My ECAS is not active.
My mode of payment was DD, but I do not know the status and I am not sure either bank will give me proper information abut that.
Please let me know Can I apply for GCMS?

Once CAS is activated it means that data entry is complete.

Updated data @ SS, makes lots of difference to all of us, Seen people asking their timeline > if our SS is updated regularly any one can get an idea out of the stats.
Or even folks who are doing some Analytical reports will be benefited the most and will be able to get a closer picture of the Arrival date of any email or progress.

So, PLEASE A KIND REQUEST TO ALL TO - update atleast their enteries regularly (it takes hardly a minute to update and that too 3-4 times during the whole process)
From last 2 week i am unable to post my regular updates - coz of the incomplete data at SS.

Can any guide me how to get additional copy of IELTS copy from british council, India.

I gave them my application courier details and explained them that I send my original Ielts copy to CIC along with my application but they refused to issue me copy and told me that I need to give them CIC mail regarding acknowledgement of my application.

Here is some good news

Just an observation for Canadian dollar...this currency has depreciated due The Bank of Canada (Central Bank) cutting its key interest rate. What this eventually means for applicants is ...they would have to shell out less domestic currency inorder to buy Canadian dollar. Eg. In May one would require approx. 55 INR (Indian rupees) to buy 1 Canadian dollar which now could be bought at 50 INR....... Savings of approx. 9%...

Yes, This is definitely good news. This is also due to the fact that INR has not depreciated as much as other currencies with respect to USD. The INR fightback along with the key interest cut by Canada's Central Bank has helped the INR gain with respect to the CAD.

It's updated at least once a week. November refers to a script revamp or whatever.

For FBI PCC,
Do prints of all fingers have to meet the criteria ? Say, prints of 3 or 4 fingers/thumb are considered fine by them, will they give the pcc ?
