Thanks Goku.

My wife is also with me in France , so I understand that she can also go for medicals in France.

The problem still remains for Indian PCC. For that we will have to go India or request for an extension period.

Isn't it ?

Plus , they have requested for an affidavit for me not having a Birth Certificate . Is there any format available for this affidavit?

Thanks for your help !!
Anup GUpta

Hey Anup,

You can get PCC for yourself and your spouse from the Indian Consulte in France, not necessary you need to go India.

With regards to Affidavit for your Birth, get hold of an advocate in India through someone in India and that should be a straight forward thing.
You simply need to tell the advocate that you need an Affidavit, and it is possible one of your parent need to sign this in the presence of the advocate. Other seniors can confirm on whatever I am saying .. or if there is any better way to approach this.

Hope this helps
Regards
Rajesh

Hi,
Currently I work in Canada on Temp Work Permit (Intra-Company Transfer),
a. Do I need to take PCC from India consulate in Canada ?
b. PCC from India? If yes, how to get it from Canada or Do I need to travel back to India for PCC?

Please advice. Thanks.

Hello, you can get your PCC in Canada itself, simply approach the Indian Consulate in Canada and they should be able to provide you with the PCC.

Hope this helps

A little correction. Incase of interview, it will as below
Sure. I am writing from memory so this is not exactly what ECAS shows, but you will get the idea.
1 - We received your application on XXXX.
2 - We started processing your application on XXXX.
3 - Interview scheduled on XXXX
4 - Medicals have been received.
5 - A decision have been made on your case. An officer will contact you.

+ 1 in return.

Thanks

darpanshah +1 to u too

For most of CPC-O applicants no second line is added. They directly receive MR.

Status on ECAS as "MR is received" means you have passed your medical. Now sending Medical acknowledgement makes no sense. They might be working on your security, that why its taking so long for PPR. Hang on PPR will come soon.
