Happy to share the good news that finally, finally, finally, I have received the much elusive

PER !!!!!

Thanks to all the forum members for the confidence bestowed upon me. Your support really helped me go through the difficult times. Will not name anyone as the list is endless and do not want to miss anyone. ;D ;D

Will update the SS shortly

My timelines :
NOC : 1114
Application receipt date at CIC as per courier : 2nd Sept
Application receipt date at CIC as per CIC : 20th Oct
DD encashment date as per CIC : 23rd Dec
DD encashment date as per bank : 29th Dec
ECAS update went live : 16th Jan
PER date : 20th Jan

Don't really think I had missed out on any docs in the initial application, though i must admit that :
1. My Birth Certificate wasn't submitted as I didn't have one at the time of application submission. Had submitted an affidavit and a 10th passing certificate in which DOB was mentioned.
2. Didn't submit legal marriage certificate as I did not have one at the time of application submission. In lieu of this, I had submitted marriage certificate issued by religious priest and passport copies where spouse name was updated. Also Childs BC was provided where parents name was updated.

Have got both these certificate issued from respective government offices now, to be on the safer side. Don't recall any other discrepancy.

Does anyone know how much time does it take to get Passport stamp and returned back, at CPC-Ottawa ?
I sent my passport for stamping yesterday from Toronto.

I need this info to send an official email. Please let me know.

Good to know abt ratingcrady's positive interview and per of my dear canOl


Guys I got my gcms notes , they have not assigned my file to anyone till now
Nothing started on my file
Addition of my baby in November is possible reason for delay as far as I can guess from gcms till now

Anything related to gcms you guys wanna discuss or know or tell pls send me personal msg as I m not reading forum frequently

Sure. I am writing from memory so this is not exactly what ECAS shows, but you will get the idea.
1 - We received your application on XXXX.
2 - We started processing your application on XXXX.
3 - Medicals have been received.
4 - A decision have been made on your case. An officer will contact you.

+ 1 in return.

From my experience till now...I know three lines,,,

1) we received your application on .....
2) we started your processing on....
3) we received your medicals.....

I think the 4th one is...decision made..... though not too sure about 4th,caz I am still waiting on this stage...

Ohh so line 2 is updated somewhere between PER and MR.....

Dear Brother,

Yes u can start the process and once u get the pER, send a scanned copy of new PP via CSE to ur local VO....That will be enough for u...
