With ref to below query can we apply for 2 PCC's one from her old address and other from new address (if we are lucky to get).

Is it legitimate to apply for 2 PCCs for different addresses?

Hello Everyone,

I am facing an issue with my wife's PCC, The address mentioned in her existing passport is old address (X) where she stayed before marriage.

Now she is staying at different address (Y) since our marriage (Sep 2013).

Problem is we have given our house (Y) for reconstruction and move to a rented place (Z) 3 months back.

While applying for PCC we need to give current address and permanent address, If there is change in address to what is mentioned in her passport (i.e. address Y) as current address then police verification will happen on that address and we are not staying there, I might be a problem.

For a solution, If I mention both permanent address and current address as same (i.e. address X) her old address what is in passport, we might get the PCC without any issues.

Do you see any problem in the above solution or Canada NDVO will check the records and verify the address on which PCC is done/taken.

Please provide your vital inputs and thank you for the help in advance.

I finished my medical today along with my wife and 2 kids.

I am planning to courier the following documents to NDVO. Can somebody please confirm

• Passport Bio pages (first and last) of me, wife, 2 kids
• Original PCC of me and wife
• Original Medical acknowledgement given by Hospital
• RPRF fees receipt paid online

Refer to the email that came from cic at the time of medicals mentioning about the documents to be submitted. Pls take a print out of that and send it along with other documents. That email clear says please send this form along with the documents (underlined). I had forgotten to send copy of that and had to send it separately. Hope that helps.

I am also 1123 applicant (Product manager) and i am also employee in Product related Company instead of any marketing Agency or Ad agency.

I think that as per my opinion you are eligible in both NOCs 1123 and 0124.
for 1123 they mentioned Designation is "Product manager-marketing"
for 0124 they mentioned Designation is "Marketing Manager"
Because of these reason VOC was confused. but you have tackled very nicely.

I think that you will get MR very soon.

also it is mentioned that 1123 can be hired by ad agencies or corporation. So marketing manager on corporate side is vaguely coming in this noc as well. I m also 1123 as I agree that we on corporate side tell agencies what to do. So this is a vague noc with general decsription which can apply to agency or corporate side.

Hi Seniors,

My app was recieved 12 Nov 2014, I applied under NOC 0711. I managed to check the spread sheet finally, people who applied in the same NOC got charged between 10th and 15th Jan 2015. So I am worried.

The credit card I used in my first application got cancelled by the bank (for safety reasons they said) on the 10th Jan 2015 for issued related to the bank and they issued a new one. Very bad timing :'(

I sent another payament form (using a different card) and it was delivered on 17th Dec 2014, I am not sure they are going to match the new form with my application before rejecting it.

Whay do you suggest? Is it too late to send an email? how much is possibility of matching the second form with the application? Do i still have hope?

Sorry to hear this news. Because of this very reason all of the forum members advised me to go ahead with the Demand Draft. With you all the best that they match your new payment form although chances are minimal and it is a matter of luck.

After selling my property I am planning to deposit in FD instead of bank balance. Because I feel I may not be able to show the statement balance for 3 months.

And one more thing, if I take FD in my spouse name, should she accompany me at the first visit?

Please advice.

Congratulations to you. It is very strange that your application reached on 22nd December and you got your CC charged within 30-days. It is really fast and exceptional treatment of your file. Because up till now I have been noticing that charging period of credit cards of various applications. The least I could find in recent days was 55-days. But in your case it seems that just within 30-days your CC got charged.

FD has to be in the name of Primary Applicant.... dont take chances...

Hi guys,

Finally my interview date came today.

What can i tell you about this experience?

Reached embassy at 9.30. Interview was scheduled for 10.30.

20 people sitting at reception.
Important- Mobiles are kept outside, No parking available for cars or other vehicles.

Anyway, i am called in a room at 10.05 itself.

Il refer visa officer as VCO now.

Vco greets me, asks me if i nervous. I replied that i was a bit nervous and would not mind having water. He told me to go out and get it from cooler. I thanked him.

Came back, he started asking about JD. He never told me the reason for interview.

I told him about JD for current company.

Important point is to keep it short and simple. No need to elaborate more than required.

We moved to my previous companys. I told him the similarities and differences between current jd and older jds.
He started reading the lead statement.

He told me that he was Ok with my JD BUT matter of fact is that lead statement is not matching my designation.

I asked him to elaborate.

He told me that lead statement says that these professional are employed by agencies.

He told me that you are employed by product or services company but not by media, ad, pr agencies.

I debated with him over the fact that marketing managers define what agencies have to do for their companies.

He insisted that you are fit for a diff NOC but not this as you DO NOT WORK IN AN AGENCY.

I told him a very simple thing- I MIGHT BE FIT FOR ANOTHER NOC BUT IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT I DO NOT FIT HERE AS WELL. I DO 80% DUTIES, LEAD STATEMENT IS 50% MATCHING, I DO NOT SEE WHY I AM NOT FIT FOR 1123. I TOLD HIM THAT THERE IS A REASON DUE TO WHICH GOVT. OF CANADA HAS MENTIONED LEAD STATEMENT AND DUTIES SO YOU CAN NOT SAY THAT I DONT FOT HERE AS WELL.

He kept his stand and i stood on my stand.
We debated in length about this only.

VERDICT OF VCO- I have listened to what you have said, at this time i can not judge your case. I need time of upto 4 weeks to get back to you about my decision. I can neither reject or approve.

I asked him if i could give him more info with which he can process my file faster.

Vco said i have all info which is necessary, i have to think only.

He then asked me who is with me, i told him that my wife had accompanied me.

He asked me if i would want him to meet her. I told him that it is his call. Then he asked me about her, basic things though. Finally he said please call her.

When she came in, he cross verified everything i had told him about her.

He never looked at 300 documents i took with me. So i told him that i need to submit some docs.

He said please do.

I gave him pcc, revised pof, revised ref letters etc.

He accepted my pcc as well.

Final statement by voc - let me take my time. I appreciate how you were forthcoming and how you spoke.
I thanked him and moved out of the office.

Total duration 45 mins.

I can and will answer any and all queries by fellow forumites. Pls feel free.

My gut feel- Nothing as such, i l wait.
