Dear all,
A friend of mine got his visa 2 weeks ago. He received a phone call from CIO telling he still cannot land in Canada. Have you seen such thing before? Any idea?

This is the 2nd case where VO/CIC has asked the applicant not to land.
Dear y_y, could you please share the timelines of your friend and his VO.

As I know his VO is Paris and his visa issued on late Dec or early Jan.

So this is the second case of Paris Vo to be more specific. May be because of the latest terror attacks, they have initiated another level of Security Checks which was probably not there before Visa stamping.
