Hi all!

I have a question regarding POF. I submitted my FSW docs in September 2014 and I attached as POF a time deposit certificate which had a tenure of 1 year and will expire in Februrary 2015. I don't want to renovate the Certificate for another year because I might need the funds sooner (if Mexico City VO works harder to issue MRs!!) so I was thinking on renewing it for only three months. At the bank they told me that they could do it but it will generate a different account number from the one I had before. So the question is: does VO validate POF by researching with the bank the products I have with them and verifies that the account number is the same as the one I presented with my documents? because in this case I will still have the funds but under a different account number..

I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!!

Guys As per the spreadsheet last charge for Noc 1111 was Oct 08, 2014 but one more charge is reported on the forum which was on Oct 11, 2014. So we can say till Oct 11 the category was open. No charging is happening for this particular noc.

I'm preparing for my landing in Canada

Documents to carry:
1. Passport
2. CoPR Letter 2 copies
3. 2-3 Photos
4. Air ticket
5. PoF (Bank Draft or Travel cheque, or cash)
6. B4 Form 2 copies
7. Declaration form (Will get it in place)
8. Address for PR card (take printout of address)
9. Disembarkation Form (will get it in plane)
Am I missing something or above list is sufficient?

Please answer:
Declaration and Disembarkation Forms are same or different?
Can I carry Travel cheques as PoF?
I don't have Goods to follow list, So only one B4 Form is sufficient?

Dear Ravi very sorry to say this but 2173 was closed mid August so I don't think so there is a chance for Oct 30th.

You Just have to fill Part A and Part D, as you will be coming to Canada for first time.
For currency detail, if you have more than $10000 with you then just check "Yes".

P.S. Please also carry proof that from where you got $10000 from, because they might ask you for source of money to determine if it legitimate or not.

Thanks for your concern, let me explain you my situation.

I sent Property Valuation and ePF as combined PoF, but unfortunately I was asked to submit PoF along with MR and PCC request clearly mentioning they won't accept property/jewel valuation.

So now I am preparing to sell the property and deposit the amount in FD in my and my spouse name.

Hi pr4vj,

I am worried for you friend as I see you asking the same question for the last 3-4 days and it may delay you proceeding.

1) You can send ePF (Notarised). I did, and many others and ti works.
2) 3 Months is also ok, but I suggest to keep on safer side, have FD's for a minimum period of 6 months.
3) You can combile, ePF, FD or bank statements to acheive the required PoF Figure.

Stop worrying and submit it. It will work.

Usually it takes around 10 days to 30 days, hope in your case it would be speedy PER
