Seniors / Bankers Plz help

• Bank says they have no means of tracking the DD payment or checking encashed or not.
• Are hand written Demand Drafts Okay, like the one above?
• Anyone from the banking industry who can help me know how a DD is tracked so I can confront the Bank with the right questions/statements?
• Any such tools they use or applications in which they would be able to trace the payment

Just do a humble request to the bank staff and tell them you are in need of it, they are surely aware of whether DD is en-cashed or not. But only problem is that it will take some time from the branch staff to check by logging into their account and might take 10-15 minutes. But by requesting them to help you they will be able to inform you.

Dear definitely you can check your dd status from your bank. You need to tell Canara bank to check their nortro mirror account which is in bank of Montreal and confirm about your dd. Hope this will help.

Hi All,

First of all, Congratulations to everybody who received their PER, MR, PPR and RPRF.

It would be great if someone in the forum could give an approx time frame as to when i can expect my MR. I know it is tough to predict, but just asking.

My Timeline are:

App recd date at CIC - Aug 15th
PER Recd Date - 12th Dec 14
NOC Code : 0112 (HR)
Visa Office : NDVO

ndvo starts processing generally 60-80 days after PER and MR another week from that. hope this helps.

Guys, it’s been 96 days since I received PER.

Any suggestions, what could be the reason behind this delay?? Or shall I send CSE to LVO and ask for the update???

How do i find out whether the online fee payment was successful .. i did see the recipt it says it has been approved and stuff.. is that enough or any other way to find more about the same.

"My application started processing from 19/11/2014 from new delhi but till date i have not received further movement into my file.Kindly let me know the status of my application as soon as possible."

Now,i just want to know is this normal..?
do they send an email like this on same day..?

CC Charged: 1st Oct 2014
PER: 8th Oct 2014
Visa Office : LVO
LVO Processing date: 25th Nov 2014
Medicals Request: 1st Dec 2014
Medicals done: 6th Dec 2014
Medicals sent: 8th Dec 2014
RPRF Request: 1st De 2014
RPRF Sent: 21st Dec and received date at LVO: 23rd Dec 2014
PPR Request Date: 8th Jan 2015

Dear Seniors,

My 3rd line was updated 3 month before but no PPR.

I have a doubt. I paid my RPRF online and emailed the copy of receipt to them.

Do they accept that ? or Do I need to send hard copy of that?

I am worrying that I sent the hard copy of the receipt 2 weeks later from the requested date only
