Hi everyone,

I am an applicant for FSW 2014 in NOC 2132 through NDVO. My application received in CIC 21 July 2014.

I got my PER confirmation on 14th Nov 2014. Since then there is no updates. Is NDVO moving too slow ??? By the way i see some MRs for those who applied after me also...

Dear Friends,
Can anyone share with us what is the average timeline for receiving a MR request from NDVO?I received my PER mail on 2nd Dec under NOC 1123.Our agent advised us to get our PCC done within the waiting time so that things can proceed smoothly. Its been 50 days & i m yet to receive an MR request. Please share if anyone is in the same boat & what is the current situation.Thanks..God bless all
pls help ...

There is no perfect trend around the time lines cause many MAY June applicants are waiting for the same and at the same time july and august people have received the MR request.
In my case it took 55 days for the MR to come and in 3 days the MR was received as well. Its a good point to get PCC while waiting for the MR and if there are other things you want to focus on while waiting.
All the best...

Dear all,

I guess we don't need to update if you guys have made mistake not mentioning US visa reject.
I was rejected twice for US visa. Once for F1 visa, student visa and next time was B1 visa, tourist visa. And my wife was rejected for Canada student visa few years back. We didn't mentioned about this.
But we have already received our MR and RPRF.
Yesterday we did Medical test and today we send RPRF.

Application received by CIC: 31st July 2014
PER email: 25th Nov 2014
MR and RPRF email: 13 Jan 2015
Medical test done: 18 Jan 2015
RPRF sent: 19 July 2015

Good luck of all you guys with your application.
Cheers

Thank u sunwar!!

Hi,

I'd still advise (as seniors like Century have done before) that you disclose ur visa rejections at this stage.....There r two checks done- Background & Criminality Check, and Security check....security check probably happens after MR where one of the steps would be to check the US CBP database...by updating the Generic Form and a cover letter now, u can save the hassle of questions being asked later/ an unnecessary delay/misrepresentation suspicions....y to take a risk at this stage?..else of course its ur choice just a suggestion from my side....:)

The best is to be transparent .. let them take a call on the decision rather than hiding and some fine day it comes up in a weird way.. so if it worked out then good all the best .. but as said by many others .. provide as much information as you can and support the same with relevant documents.

All the best...

Any new Decision Made/ PPR's from NDVO in the new year Huh

I hope people who have been waiting for over 3 months get it in this week itself , because the longer it takes , the shorter window for you guys to land and get the PR card.

What is happening with NDVO .... has anyone raised a CSE yet ?? the one's who have been waiting for over 3 months .. anyone ??

Hello All,

Just an update. I got the Passport request today (sort of).

However I am a little confused. I now need to send photos, updated information chart and passport/copies of passport to the London Visa Office.

The bit I am confused about is because there are 2 options:
1) If you are a citizen of a country that is exempt from obtaining a visa to visit Canada then you can just send a photocopy of the passport and send directly to the canadian embassy.

2) If you are a citizen of a country that is required to obtain a visa to visit Canada, then you have to send your passport to the VAC and pay additional fees.

Now I am exempt from visa for Canada so scenario 1, however my wife is not exempt. But because I am the primary applicant I think I should be sending the application to the embassy directly (as you have to send info for primary & all dependants together).

Should I also send my passports (even though it does not mention requiring this in the form).

Regards
firstly congratulation for the PPR.
since you are from Canadian visa exempt country, i think u need to send only your passport copy along with your wife passport and other required documents through VAC.
You can post the query in family class section forum because many people faced the same situation.

Thank you arkscan for your suggestion.
But if you update your information then it is sure that your application will be delayed.
I was also in doubt with this issue several times and later on I asked one of my brother who is already in Canada since last 3 years.
He was rejected US visa but he didn't mentioned and when I ask him same question, he said that you don't need to concern if you have denied on US visa as far as you haven't done any crime and you was not rejected because of those things.
