Hi All!!

How is it possible all these activities from CIC/Visa Office on Sunday?
I also had my ECAS 4th line updated today "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." \o/

Some questions:
1- Is this the same line for everybody who reached this point?
2- Who does create this 4th line? the Visa office or CIC in Ottawa?
3- I had already sent my passport and RPRF deposit slip, but I've seen people who didnt receive the PP request yet but had the 4th line updated. Is that really possible?

Come on, we are NOC 2171 guys, aren't we? The CIC information systems might work the way when some tasks are performed in batches / bulk updates put on schedule, e.g. they made their changes to the files and statuses and then the statuses table is automatically updated on Sunday

That's exactly what I first thought, RomanSPb. But it's funny to believe there is batch job running in background updating our statuses and triggering e-mails on Sunday. Why not on Saturday? Friday night? they chose Sunday.
But yes, I am happy I'm in the middle of all this

I have a question regarding my obligation as the principal applicant to our dependents. Do I have any kind of explicit or implicit obligations or undertakings to support my dependents who became permanent residents because we were in the same PR application under Federal Skilled Workers program? I know under Family Sponsorship category, the sponsor need to sign an agreement between the sponsor, the sponsored person, and the government that the sponsor will financially support the sponsored person for a certain amount of years. And it is a big commitment. Under Federal Skilled Workers program, I never read any similar articles or policies. But I am still concerned about any implicit obligations or undertakings.

Any information or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't mind if it gets delayed once I get my PR. But I wanted to know if there's a stipulated time for me to remain in Canada?
