Hi George, Thanks a lot for putting in this periodic effort and sharing the stats.
I am specifically interested in the RPRF received to Passport requested timeframe. Would you have done an average to derive this figure or have you excluded to bottom / top 10% outliers?
If not, can you also share post excluding the outliers, whats the average days you get.

+1 for the info.

Cheers

Hi

One of my friends' application was rejected after MR & RPRF...
reason given - duties not matching the NOC !!!!

Very strange....

any one came across this situation?
which noc is he from??

Dear All,

I am going to send GCMS note through my cousin who is studying in Canada but some clarification required:

In the site: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/requesterInformation

1. Should he use his local address?
2. "If you are requesting information on behalf of another individual, you will be asked to attach proof of his or her signed consent at the end of this request" - How can I give the signed consent to him? Is there any form?

Thats very weird. Haven't came across any such cases like that. I mean CIO-Sydney gave "GO", then First officer at VO gave "GO" and issued MR and RPRF and then rejection, and reason for rejection is "Duties not matching the NOC". Thats a real weird thing.

Hope your has received procedural fairness letter to support his/her part.

Yes...Goku...its very strange...
I too cannot verify this 100% ...i sent him a msg to reconfirm on this...will update you all further...

Maybe they have did a background check and the previous employer that have provided documents as proof for experience did not confirm that when they have contact him. If they did a background check that might happened. Your friend should get a letter with an explanation form VO on which terms did they reject him.

When he gets that email or letter he can complain on the decision that VO has made. Maybe he should contact them as soon as possible and try to find out what was the reason.
Unfortunately Immigration Officer lately are hostile towards newcomers in Canada and they are seeking any reason to reject the application. It was not like that before.
