Pls help seniors..
God forbid if application gets rejected.
Like in case of incomplete application, I see as some has posted about a rejection letter from cic. I wanted to know if The rejection letter in which cic informs about rejection under IPRA comes in post or as email coz I have changed my address after I applied for FSW. And so if they sent the rejection information via post I will not know about the rejection in first hand, leave aside informing them about address change to send the courier and cheque back. Thank you

Hello guys

I am pleased to inform that yesterday I received my MR, RPRF and PCC requests.

My details are as follows:

NOC: 2171
VO: NDVO
App Date: 31st July 2014
PER: 25th Nov 2014
MR,PCC, RPRF: 16th Jan 2015.
ECAS 2nd line updated: 12th Jan 2015

I had a couple of questions:
1. We are expecting to have a baby and the mail says:
"If you have, or anticipate having, a change in family composition (for example, marriage, divorce or expecting a child) you need to advise the visa office as soon as possible of this change." I was under the assumption that we had to notify the VO once we had the child. Has anybody else done the same?

2. I have applied for a US FBI PCC a month back. However, I havent heard any thing back yet. How can I check the status of my application with the FBI?

Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

Just my 2 cents - my friend just called cic may be 28+ times and odd since 4 weeks - last call mssg:

agent says - its not our mandate to work with cio- try faxing them or emailing them as urgent for uci
inspite of my friend saying he lost the email- they dont want to help

welll u see how the world is right

for now 2 applicants are dying for uci on noc 2132 received oct 3rd..

only time can say

@terki....i understand..that was why i said try it .it might work and it may not work....i called always and they keep telling me what they told your friend but i never gave up....the CIC male call agents are more stern and hard to get the UCI from...the ladies are more concerned to listen and give.So i will advise they keep calling..they are bound to be lucky because one can really be too tensed without knowing the real status of his applications.Its killing.

anyone sent family config change update/docs with passport?? i sent my spouse docs+ processing fee etc with my passport via VFS. how long may it take?? still no MR for my spouse received. (1 month passed since i sent my passport).

Thanks for the info....but I can not check my status as I dont have UCI number plus I am doing my case through one of the consultants and he used his email ID for all the communication. I would not get my UCI number if I will call them So just keeping my fingres crossed and hope for the best. This waiting is killing me

@Waiting2014.....you can get your UCI number even with a consultant handling your case.....a consultant is also handling my application and i was able to get my UCI number....what the CIC call agent asked me was the name of my consultant,his office address and phone number to which i provided the answers because she noticed the contact address and email was not in my name so she asked if i was the one that made the application myself and i told her No..that a representative did it for me and she gave me the UCI number.So try calling CIC and you could get lucky.

Delighted to inform you that I received Medical Request yesterday (Friday) at 1:28 PM IST.

My timeline is as follows,

Received Date: 8th July 2014
NOC: 4011
PER Date: 3rd Nov 2014
MR Date: 16th Jan 2015

Still searching edit link so will update SS later.


No second line before MR but now it is updated

I am an NDVO applicant...noticed today that they have updated 3rd line in my ECAS saying "Medical results have been received"

Please can some one tell me what is the time duration between 3rd line updation and PPR ??

It is really difficult to put with precision for the duration between MR and PPR (especially from NDVO), as there have been applicants who are waiting since 2-3 months for their PPR ....still you can take opinions from others as well... all the best with your application
