Pam13....keep trying to call CIC...i did like over 20 times in 3 weeks and they kept telling me they cant provide the UCI number via the phone and asked that i mail CIO. However,a good forumite asked me to try one stunt which i did and it worked and i got the UCI...here is what i did......
when the call agent picked my call.i told her i her i mistakenly deleted the mail containing my UCi without realizing it and could only remember two digits which is 92----,and i needed to fill up a CIC application form with that number.and bingo..that got the me the UCi number after she asked for al my personal details as contained in my application just to confirm she is dealing with the rightful owner...so try it,it might also work for you.

Just my 2 cents - my friend just called cic may be 28+ times and odd since 4 weeks - last call mssg:

agent says - its not our mandate to work with cio- try faxing them or emailing them as urgent for uci
inspite of my friend saying he lost the email- they dont want to help

welll u see how the world is right

for now 2 applicants are dying for uci on noc 2132 received oct 3rd..

only time can say

Hi guys !

I'm new in this forum. My timeline is as follows-:
App received-: 24th july,
PER-:26 Nov

I'm working in a small company and my salary is around 1.5 lacs per annum, Ive been paid cash and I don't get any payslips and because my salary is less so I obviously don't have to pay tax. I've submitted a salary certificate instead of payslips. Now my question is do these things effect the positivity of my case? what if they demand payslips from me? please experts help
Im tensed. :( :( :( :(

[/quote

@ Waiting2014......our NOC 1212 is a slow moving NOC....i got PER after almost 44 to 48days after DD was cashed...my DD was cashed Nov 21st and i only got PER on 14th Jan 2015..meanwhile i am August 27th applicant...so hang on..PER will soon come. However have you checked your ECAS using your UCI?...what did it say.

Thanks for the info....but I can not check my status as I dont have UCI number plus I am doing my case through one of the consultants and he used his email ID for all the communication. I would not get my UCI number if I will call them So just keeping my fingres crossed and hope for the best. This waiting is killing me :( :o

Been too dang busy with all the stuff going on, so haven't been able to post on the forum for a while.

I received an email on 10th Dec for an interview at NDVO, which was scheduled for 8th Jan, 9:30 am. I reached the High Commission at 9:00, went through security check, deposited my phone at the security counter itself. After that I entered the waiting hall, handed over the interview letter at the reception counter & the lady asked me to wait for my name to be announced.

Around 9:50 (I guess), the reception lady announced my name & asked me to go to room number "X" (you go through a sliding door into a small room, where you sit on one side & then there's a glass wall between you & the other side where the interviewer sits). Opened the sliding door, went in & was bit relieved to see a non Indian interviewer (as I have read about applicants having pretty annoying experiences with Indian interviewers). ;D

The interviewer (lady) was super nice, after the initial greetings & casual talk about how my trip to Delhi was, she told me the reason why the interview was scheduled. The guy that I work with is in US & there is no company office here in India. I forgot to mention it in my cover letter that it is a work from home sorta job. So they were not quite sure (rightfully so) about my work arrangement, how we communicate, how I get paid etc. Although the interview letter mentioned plethora of documents to bring along, all she asked was proof of communication (submitted couple of recent emails & screenshots from our project/task management software) and proof of salary, for which I submitted last 6 months payment slips & the matching bank statement.

She asked if I have brought Police certificate, which I didn't. So she said, not a problem as it was not required at that point. But I'll receive a request for it along with medical exam and PR fee. Then she explained the (usual) medical process (like check the physician list, take the medical form you will receive via email etc.).

After this I asked if she need any other document (as the letter listed a whole lot of documents). To which she replied that she has got all documents that were required to fill in the missing parts of my application assessment. She asked me I have any questions. As I was kinda surprised with how short the interview was, so I asked with excitement "So, that's it?". ;D She smiled & said, "That....is....it". ;D It was just that missing piece of information regarding my work arrangement they needed clarification about. With all the immigration fraud, Punjab doesn't really have a stellar reputation, so I guess they kinda have to be extra careful when dealing with such cases.

Interview lasted roughly 15-20 minutes (probably 10 min for the actual questions related to my application). So, in the end I put the rest of the documents in the bag, thanked her, she wished me a safe trip back home & out I went to munch on some aalu parountha & chaa. ;D

Oh yea, and I received the medical request (along with RPRF & PC) on 13th. Had I explained my work/employment setup in the cover letter itself, I might have received the MR 40-50 days back. But you always got to learn something from such experience.

Cheers!

Congrats!!!!

I received PER on 29th Nov and application received date is 7 Aug. 2nd line is not updated yet neither medical request is received. Visa office is NDVO...is it possible that medical request is received without second line updation.
Pls guide....and by when can I expect medical request.

hi NAV82,
I am 5th august applicant and I got PER on 26th nov but neither I have got any MR request nor 2nd line is updated yet.....I m also tensed but as per SS only one 1st aug got MR request and another got his 2nd line update.....so lets patiently wait....I know its tough though but we do not hv any option. ..and yes a few applicants reported MR request before 2nd line update....all the best dear and may god bless us all...cheers!!!

I am in the same boat, but I had sent an addendum that was accepted by CIC Nova Scotia. Whether they will consolidate everything into one application needs to be seen. Just curious, had you sent the missing documents as an addendum to your original application?

Hi,
Points calculation based on experience in NOC or total work experience?
for e.g.
1 years in NOC 2172 and
5 years in NOC 2171.

Will CIC consider points based on 1 year or total 6 years?
