On a side note:

There have been a LOT of applicants who have had their applications progress much ahead in comparison to mine; them being applicants from mid to late July. So for applicants who are waiting in line, looking at others progress should know, understand and [b]believe [/b]that once the application is transferred to the Local VISA Office, [i]date of application submitted should not be taken as an 'indicator' of any sort[/i] (not that it means nothing).

I have also come across people speculating such cases being favored ahead as the applicant might have had work experience in "Large MNCs" (I mean MNCs are "large" anyway ). To this I would say - I have worked in 3 Organizations including the present one. ALL the 3 organizations are 'LEADERS' in Banking, Financial Data Services and Loyalty Analytics. My application is "COMPLETE" with PCC and no substituting documents, which means Original Birth Certificate and Experience Letters. I still got jack (until today, if I may say so). Therefore if there is an applicant who would like to believe that he or she has been left high and dry because there Organization is not listed on Wall Street; I would say go easy on yourself.

Understand this: VO's work like The Flintstones. They lift the wheels and run with their feet, if you know what I'm saying.

Also, I am worrying that if NDVO starts getting applications through Express Entry, then they might even get more slow as CIC has committed that the applications will be processed and completed within 6 months from beginning till end and FSW candidates should refer to the timelines as per the CIC website which is maximum 22 months for India.

I am a 5 May Applicant. Waiting for the PPR desperately now.

NDVO is regularly sending MR, PCC & RPRF request's. But, they are extremely slow in issuing PPR's.

Well my friend called them 27 times - each time was handled with utter distress - the other side behave as if something is burning them...

I agree with u. We our selves got UCI after wading across a river of flames, monotonous trying will result in a kind agent picking up the phone who will give UCI# eventually. Best of luck to ur friend

Friends...this special post of mine is for the ones who are about to apply or need help in getting Australia PCC.

Please keep in mind that, CIC needs 2 authentic letters in order to accept your Australia PCC if you have visited or stayed in Queensland or Victoria state.

Except these 2 states, you need to have only one letter that is Australia PCC. (if somebody has been advised that Traffic History is not needed, please make sure that you will be again asked to submit Traffic History and that will delay ur process).

For getting Australia PCC :

1) Please apply online : http://www.afp.gov.au/what-we-do/police-checks/national-police-checks.aspx

2) Thing to keep in mind : you need to have scanned copies of all the required documents you are submitting and upload step by step.

3) Payment : 45$ charge will be deducted. I dont have idea about other countries but if you are applying from India, your debit or credit card will not be accepted and you will not be able to proceed further at last stage of payment. So, take the help of Australian credit card (from friend or family member..any) and pay the amount.

4) You will receive payment receipt / reference no. on the given email ID which you will need for further communication.

5) Within day or a two, you will receive notification on ur Emial ID stating completion of process and dispatch through AUSTRALIA POST.

6) If possible, give local Australia address for delivery of PCC which will take shorter time (3-4 working days) and then any fastest delivery courier can be choosen to deliver the doc to India address. If you have given India address, it will take up to ~10-14 working days.


For getting Traffic History (For Queensland / Victoria state) :

1) If you possessed License while your tenure in Austrlia, it is quite easy. Just visit https://www5a.maxi.com.au/epp/vrd/DriverHistory.asp?pr=2&step=1 and proceed according to direction given.

2) It is quite tricky if you did not possess license. At this time, you need an official letter from Victoria / Queensland authority stating that you did not possess license while your tenure at Australia.

3) To get this letter, you have to send your complete details on DEMERITS@roads.vic.gov.au

4) Please include all your main details including your dates of entry and exit in Australia, and Return address to get your letter delivered.

5) You will get reply from authority after 10 working days confirming your letter has been dispatched through regular post.

Hope this will help you buddies.

Remember that please apply on time and give atleast margin of 20-25 days from application done to get your letters in hand and plan accodingly.

Any help you need regarding this, please let me know.

I have completed all these procedures recently and have complete idea now.
