I am wondered why nobody answers my question. yesterday, i received a request of RPRF from Bucharest VO. However, they did not ask for medical test. How long does it take to receive MR after paying the RPRF? does asking for the RPRF means that my application is approved? whats gonna happen next?
I am already in canada doing a master degree>>>> do i still need security checks?

This is the first time i read from this forum that rprf was sent ahead of mr.. usually mr first before rprf or they are requested at the same time. But this is a positive movement in your application.

Are you on student pass or work pass in Canada? Did you have your medicals done in Canada within 2 yrs for issuance of those pass? It might be because they have already had your medical, hence, they don't need you to do it again.

Dear all,

I would like to share a little story just happened to me, but it may help many of late applicants to clear their thoughts if they will fall into their caps or not. I applied my file for Noc 2133, the file received 19 December, 2014. Today I had a phone call from the IDP (Ielts Test Center) verifying with me the last name of my wife upon a request from CIC because the officer couldn't find her name when they were checking her Ielts results. I understand why this happened, as I requested another Ielts Copy with a family name different from the original ielts one to be adopted with her family name in her passport and sent it with my application. In spite this situation made a little worry of delaying my file, however, it gave my a hope that i am counted into my Noc 2133 cap. I hope this story gives hope to many worry applicants...

We need to inform that to local visa office. How will that affect to my application processing in local visa office?

Once visa received, can we go to Canada and get passport stamp and come back? Or do we need to go there and stay continuously?

It seems that CIC is conducting extensive reiview of my Linkedin profile.

Today in the morning there were 2-persons from CIC were viewing my Linkedin profile. Just now I logged into my linked in account and checked the summary of who has viewed my profile. I have noticed that there are three persons from CIC have viewed my linked in profile. Please see below image of my linked in profile summary:-

After getting your MR, you should inform of your job and country change.
After getting visa enter once, get visa stamp and then you can leave canada.
Again you can enter later but you have to live in canada for 2 yrs in 5 yrs to get your visa renewed after 5 yrs

Anyone from sept spplicants..got PER recently. I am sep 9th applicant...DD encashed 6th dec nstill waiting for PER. NOC 1212

you know, there are several applicants from Sep who've received PR therez someone even from 1 Oct....I have also observed that NOC 1212 is running slow as compared to other NOC's.

Have you sent a mail to CIC asking for status, general wait time for PR is 3-4 months approx.I applied for the same NOC my app was received on 6 Oct and expecting an update anytime till first week of Feb...... I strongly recommend you send them a mail or try to catch them on phone.

Can anyone tell me if the PR stamped on passport is a single entry visa or multiple entry. Is it possible to land in canada, complete port entry requirements, apply for PR card and come back in 1-2 weeks. And finally move after another 3-4 months.

No update since meds and RPRF, is it worth calling the CIC call centre?

I don't think its worth call the CIC call centre, they'd have the same update as you...sending mail to local VO might help (just my opinion)

Do you have the details on the email address and phone numbers of the CIO - Nova Scotia hotline, please share.

Just a bit worried about our application, our credit card haven't been charge yet and no email updates received and I see November applications being charged now. Our application was received October 17, 2014 under NOC 1212

Please advice.
