My application package was returned since CC charge could not be performed. I was a NOC 2133(civil engineering) applicant. Can I still resubmit the documents for FSWP 2014 or it is mandatory to apply for express entry after 01/01/2015?

Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

The NOC code for Civil Engineering is 2131. If you mentioned it as 2133 in your application, it may be the reason for the rejection. In any case, you will now have to apply under Express Entry. Cheer up, though. If all your credentials are in order, and you get an offer of employment, you may land in Canada before we FSW applicants do.

Was your MR through medical clinic? If not then the delay is still not alarming.
If yes, the connect with them and verify the UCI & IME details from them against which they uploaded the reports.
Provided they are also correct, there is really nothing much that you need to worry of. Eventually the 3rd line will be updated.

** In my case, I saw my line not updated for 6 days post test and I called on the 8th day and made sure that they had the right details. Parallel to it, my online status also got added will line 3.

** Might be silly, but clear you cache, use the root link to get into you online application status. Link is below.
Once in, click logout. Clear cache again. Try it again and check.

Yes you can but, PLEASE ENSURE to complete everyones (Principal Applicant & dependents) medicals within stipiulated time (30 days) as given by CHC NDVO.

Yes, you can prefer different hospitals AS SUGGESTED by CIC ONLY.

I suggest opt for Medicals on same day, also if possible from same hospital.

DD Encashed: 5th Jan, 2015 (As per Bank)

Can anyone please tell how to check the status of DD encashment from bank. I made the DD from HDFC bank and bank provided me the foreign currency DD in CAD of Nova Scotia Bank. Now I have contacted with HDFC and they are refusing to say anything about that DD, as per them they don't have any details about it.

many congrats to everyone with MR and visa issuance, my friend Dip, sk, and everyone else i trust you are moving along quite well in this process. AVO has been cold , nothing heard from them. I wish AVO was as fast as NDVO. i see folks with september application date getting MR call, thats awesome, goodluck to everyone in this process.

This disproportionate delay in issuing PPR from NDVO is really bugging. The High Commission has to realize that if they are giving people Permanent Residentship for settling in Canada, the applicants will have to make necessary preparation and finish much needed formalities and obligations have to be fulfilled to shift accordingly. This wait in uncertainty for nearly four/ five months will only jeopardize the plan for number of applicants from India. It smacks of serious unprofessionalism on the part of NDVO and they should expedite PPRs for those candidates, who applied early and cleared the application in all merit.

Yes it is dude u have to land within 1 year of medicals done... check the timeline on the blog earlier.. u need to be in canada to make ur pr card which might take 3-4 weeks. I was planning to go for a month , make the PR card and then come back prepare myself and then go to settle... ur views..?

Does it cover examination of private parts? Do they strip ? Anybody did it from GYD health?
How about the same for ladies.

I got it done from Max, but I am pretty sure GYD would also do the same checks. I checked their website and the below is from their page.


IMM - MEDICAL EXAMINATION(CANADA) 2250.00
IMM - VDRL 300.00 (test for SYPHILIS)
IMM - HIV ELISA 650.00 (test for AIDS)
IMM - URINE - R 200.00
IMM - CHEST PA VIEW 700.00 (test for Tuberculosis)
TOTAL AMOUNT 4100.00

In addition as I had Tattoo, I had to get a check for hep A and B also through a blood test.
