I have just received request for medicals and RPRF fees.

PER Date: 26-Nov-2014

Important Question which I hope the group can answer:
1. I was also expecting to get a request for PCC from US/ FBI. I have NOT received this request along with request for medicals. Can I expect to be asked for this document at a later time? Or should I send it to NDVO even though they have not asked for it (I have it ready with me). I'm a bit scared of sending them documents that they have not asked for - in case these do not get properly added to my file or a are misplaced because they were never requested.

2. I've had the full amount of family funds sitting in a saving account. since this is over CAD 22K, can I go ahead and invest it in stocks etc...OR do I need to keep in in my savings account in anticipation that I may be asked for Proof of Funds again?

Yah, there are many anxious hearts not knowing whats going on with their app. I had to inform them about this so that they can be certain about their future and take the right course of action. I at least owe this much to this wonderful forum........ particularly to people like Ashif, Pipshusband, Century (apologies for not mentioning other names, my mind is kind of blank now).

I am may not be back again............. unless I hear something positive about my second app.....

Applied for NOC 2173 in November 2014 but the noc cap got filled up. I believe they might have also not opened those applications. When will I get my papers back from CIC? Is there a way I could ask them to return back my application?

Attention All 2171 applicants

I am a 3rd Sept, 2014 applicant. I got a reply for my email I sent on 6th Nov, 2014. And below is the reply.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on January 10, 2015 as the cap of NOC 2171 has been reached. A letter of explanation was provided along with the application package.

Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application package. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service. Applications are not sent via courier.

This now rests all speculations regarding any future prospects for 2171. The most important to note here is that my app was returned only last friday, i.e., 10th Jan, 2015. Dont know why it took more than 50 days for them to return my app after the cap fill. Anyway, it does not matter now.

According to SS, 2171 was announced to be capped on 21/11/14. This means there is a big gap between CIC' caps counting and reality! It could be the case for other NOCs as well :

Hello Friend,

I saw in FSW global spreadsheet that your application for noc 2173 was received by CIC on 8/29/2014 and your fee was encashed on 1/2/2015. I just wanted to confirm it with you if this information is accurate because someone in this forum has mentioned that the application received after 8/12 did not make it into the cap. I am a 8/21/2014 applicant for noc 2173 and I haven't heard anything from CIC yet nor my draft has been encashed. Emailed them asking the status but to no avail. So I am very worried about my application.

Please put some lights on this matter.

Diplomatru, my mates responded me about the medicals. It turns out, they sent the medicals payment receipt (корешок об оплате, омг) along with their FSW application, and the medicals was re-accepted automatically. They never got any request (well, apart from PPR).

for the PCC, is it necessary to get the request letter from the immigration office for every country.....
for instance, Malaysia presently accepts online PCC requests only. In that case, what is the need of getting an PCC request letter from the immigration office......

Just an update..

I contacted my bank and they told me that my DD was encashed but cannot tell me an exact date. It was encashed somewhere between Dec 29 and Jan 09.
