say i start staying in canada 4 years after my PR, i mean i just spend 1 year outta 5 yrs.. so i cannot extend my PR right
AFAIK, When in the airport , officer asks pr holder about when did he leave Canada, if he finds that the immigrant doesn't fullfill the 2 years criteria, he lets him in , but also opens an immigration case :( the pr will not be renewed for not fulfilling this point.

I am awaiting for PPR from NDVO for past 3.5 months after completing MR.

Currently I am in UK and my family( spouse and kid ) in India, I won't be able to produce my passport to New Delhi VO and my dependent are in India.

Since I am the Primary applicant, does NDVO transfers the application to London VO. Please advise.

You need to maintain residence in Canada for a minimum of 2 years out of 5 (cumulative) to be able to renew your PR. If you don't meet this requirement then you will loose your PR. It doesn't matter whether you live there continuously or not, it just has to be a TOTAL of 2 years.

+1 for this information!

Hello All,

I have submiited my MR. Waiting on my PCC - due date is Feb 10th. I have applied for pcc from FBI but havent heard back yet. Did anyone else have similar experience? Can I send an explanation to CIC?

Also, my husband's UAE pcc is in arabic so we will get it translated. Does the translater need to notarize or give us an affidavit?

Thanks!!

They will issue counterfoils at ONE location. You can't have you PP stamped at LVO, while the rest of your family doest it at Delhi.

Shall I write a CSE to CHC Delhi to follow up? ::)

It won't make a difference. Their CSE TAT is 20 days or what? By the time they reply you will have your PP back.
