PER is taking around 30 to 40 days after your payment is charged. So relax it will come through in next week or so.

Thanks abhishek ☺️ Fingers crossed ✌️

Thank you yameen and namaste.
+2 for both of you together :))

So is it being activated immediately after CCC? So I can understand from ECAS that my CC has been charged.
Or there is a delay?

There is no FSW programme anymore my friend. The last was 31st Dec'14 now you can only apply through EE or can go for some other nominee programme. Thanks

Its clearly mentioned over all the sites that starting 2015 express entry is the only way to get a PR. No more FSW. I think u should talk to ur consultant

I think from charge it can take a few days, about 7-10 for ECAS to be updated. Or maybe its just the case with DD payments.

Hi All,

I came to know recently that for applying PP for new born baby in India, spouse name should be endorsed in the PP. But neither my husband nor me has the name endorsed in the PP. I have the below queries

1. Both me and my husband shd have the spouse name endorsed in PP OR if any of us has the spouse name endorsed in PP is it enough?
2. Should we need to submit my PP to the PSK @ India ? How ;ong will take if i apply via tatkal ?
3. Will this addition of spouse in PP , change my PP number?
4. Will my Old PP get cancelled and they will issue a new one?
5. Shd I inform CIC or NDVO regarding my change in PP details ? (Current status - CC charged and waiting for PER)

Thanks

You are a little misinformed too. There still is FSW, but it is under the express entry program. The eligibility criteria for FSW hasn't changed except that there is no longer a NOC list.

The timelines vary. For some, it is activated sooner while some people have to wait until or even after getting PER. My ECAS was updated a day before receiving PER.

Dear KSA,

Thanks for your speedy reply ;D

Do we have to include "love story" in our application to convince the VOs that we are in a true relationship?

Thanks!

Not very accurate. FSW still exists but people should apply through Express Entry. There is no NOC list anymore but the selection criteria remains the same and I think the necessary documents too (not sure about the last one).

Dear all,

I have completed MR on 28th Sep and awaiting for PPR from NDVO, meanwhile I've travelled to UK and my family( spouse and kid ) in India,

I've intimated the same to NDVO over email. I am curious to know how the process works, because I won't be able to produce my passport to New Delhi VO but my dependents are in INDIA.

Can any one suggest how previous cases like mine have been handled by NDVO for PPR.

Thanks in advance.

I think so many October applicants including me are waiting for charging.Even if we find November applicants are getting charged, still we can see many October applicants are posting that they are still waiting to hear the first good news.I don't think after Xmas and New Year holidays CIC is on their normal pace for charging.Lets hope next week will bring the good news for us.

Sigh... Thanks Jacob112 for the reassurance, Best of luck to you as well!
The twiddling thumbs are getting old... ready for things to move along hopefully we all hear back soon.. ;D

My Visa office is New Delhi........
Since I am based in Saudi Arabia, will it be ok if I get the medical checks done by an approved physician in Saudi Arabia.

Dear seniors,
My question is a little off-topic but I'm hoping you can either point me to the right resources or give brief information. Thanks in advance.

The question is: I've heard (and read) that new legislations have passed that require a longer residency period to be able to apply for citizenship, (4 out of 5 years actual residency instead of 3 out of 4 and maximum 6 months per year absence from Canadian soil), has this legislation passed and is it applicable to all new PR card holders?
The CIC web pages and calculator about citizenship applications still have the 1095 days rule. Do this mean the new legislation is still not in effect?

I believe your answers will help many of us who already have and will be landing to Canada after June 2014.
Thank you very much.
